Hard work doesn’t guarantee success — it just betters our chances. So we keep showing up. We keep pushing. We keep sharpening each other.

Some days you win. Some days you learn. But every rep, every drill, every setback, and every battle is building something bigger than the scoreboard.

If you know the Grace family, then you already know we’re BIG on superheroes. 🦸🏾‍♂️🦸🏾‍♀️

But today, we get to celebrate one of our favorite heroes of all Devon. ❤️

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if she has superpowers.

Somehow, she can be at the basketball game, the football field, the baseball field, the school event, the birthday party, and the field trip. She makes sure the boys are ready, lunches are packed, water bottles are filled, the dog is taken care of, everybody is fed, and somehow the whole family keeps moving.

And then, after doing all of that, she still finds a way to pour into herself, her friends, her family, and the people she loves.

That’s her real superpower.

It isn’t super speed or the ability to be in two places at once. It’s love. It’s the way she nurtures. The way she sacrifices. The way she shows up. The way she keeps loving even when life gets busy, messy, exhausting, or difficult.

The Bible says:

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” Proverbs 31:28

Today, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

And Proverbs 31:25 says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”

Devon, we see your strength. We see the things you do that nobody applauds. We see how much of yourself you give to this family. We appreciate you more than words can really capture, and we love you more than you know.

So today, the mission is simple:

Take care of the superhero who spends every other day taking care of everybody else. ❤️

Happy Birthday to an incredible woman, an amazing wife, a phenomenal mother, and one of the greatest heroes the Grace family could ever ask for.

Happy belated birthday babe! 🎉❤️ (7.24)

Y’all… I ended up getting so sick on his birthday and tested positive for strep 😩 So I’m just now mustering up the energy to make his birthday post!

The first birthday we celebrated together was 20 years ago. Just two 19-year-old kids who had absolutely no clue what life had in store for us… 🥹❤️

Wishing my best friend the happiest birthday! I know it wasn’t exactly the birthday you deserved, but I promise I’ll make it up to you! At least we got to squeeze in hot Pilates, coffee, and Stretch Zone before I completely crashed 😂

You are the man of my dreams, a God-fearing man, an amazing father, and an incredible husband. Thank you for all that you do for our family. We love and appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

Sometimes the best way to say “I love you” is with a little sawdust, a tape measure, and a vision.

I noticed my wife was struggling to find a space that matched the growth and quality of what The Mama Pod has been building. So, in less than 24 hours, me and some friends transformed one of the walls in our home into a warm, welcoming, and inviting backdrop that reflects the heart behind the podcast.

I’m pretty proud of how it turned out—but more importantly, I’m proud of her and everything she and the ladies are pouring into this platform.

Happy 11th anniversary to my forever person 🤍 @essayons16!! I truly can’t imagine doing life with anyone else. Thank you for loving me through it all, standing by me and being an incredible example for our boys.

11 years.

11 years of choosing each other when it was easy, and when it wasn’t.
11 years of growth, grace, late nights, early mornings, prayers, laughter, and lessons.
11 years of building a life, a family, and a love that’s deeper than feelings.

Devon, you are my partner, my peace, and my anchor. You make our home warm, our boys strong, and my life better in ways I don’t always say out loud. You’ve stood beside me through every season, believed in me when I doubted myself, and loved me with patience and strength.

Marriage isn’t perfect but ours is real. And real love only gets better with time.

I’m grateful for you. I’m proud of us. And I’m thankful to walk this life with you.

November gave us so many reminders that God is still moving in every season! ✨

Here’s our November Recap:

🍂 Fall Festival fun with family and friends

🧠 Celebrated National School Psychologist Appreciation Week… my job takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work, so it felt extra special to have that effort recognized 🥰

🎺 The boys went to their first Battle of the Bands and LOVED it! Year two of the Florida Classic and you can’t tell them they’re not little Rattlers 🧡🐍💚

⛪️ Officially welcomed as members at church

🏈 The boys are thriving in their first season of flag football! Watching their growth every week has been priceless and @essayons16 stays right there coaching them on. This game had us STRESSED, but they came back and won by ONE! (Please ignore my screaming… I’m just a proud mama 😅)

🐶 Samson… the youngest Grace is living his absolute best life. Clocking in at over 60 lbs and full of personality 🫠

Grateful for God’s goodness, grateful for our people, grateful for this season 🤎✨

November is Men’s Health Awareness Month! 💪🏾
And what better way to start it off than with a little Man vs. Kid Challenge! 😂
