Having good taste is essential for any artist. It's how we decide if what we're making is up to our standard or not. But good taste can hinder you if you think its going to check every box for you right away. The process of making art is the most important thing when you're just starting out. This may not surprise you, but when I’m out of town, I’m taking pictures of statues! #statuesofNew York I look back at all of these photos that I have taken over the years when I’m working through problems. It actually makes you realize how hard it was for Sculptor’s 100 years ago to actually see how other people had worked through problems. #TheseAreTheGoodOldDays. by @esschubertsculpture
