Part one of a late birthday post! Went to the Renn Faire for the big 23. Have done so many things for this birthday so we won't remind me about the things that didnt happen and I just want to say im so thankful for everyone who spent time with me and sent the happy bday wishes. Ive learned so much in my 22nd year of living so so here's a couple of things I learned:
I learned that my feelings are just as valid as anyone else's. I can speak my mind and talk about hard feelings bc those feelings also make up Essence and deserve to be heard.
I learned that writing is a good outlet for me
I learned that I really really like going to concerts, so I need to start going to more.
I learned more about myself than I have in any previous year. Im discovering actual hobbies that can help me express myself and navigate through hard things.
I've learned a lot of fucking patience too because like wtf, why is it taking so long for all the good anime to be released.
One last thing is I need to say a special I love you to Zander. The one thats been my person for 8 years now. Its hard to remember a time in my life before you entered it. Its like imagining the world without its ocean, or the night sky without stars. It truly makes me happy to know you are my forever, and when we laugh together time stops, when it stops, I see our future. So vividly I feel like im actually living it already. You've done so much for me and we've grown a lot as people. I love you like how I love to watch the rain fall. I love you like how I love to hear the sound of the trees move back and forth from the winds. by @essence.meyer

Well 2025 was put to an end. This past year I learned so many things about myself, and got to have lots of new experiences. I made more memories to look back on when I'm older, if you really think about it 2025 wasn't really that long it seems. I can't wait to see what 2026 is like but I'm low-key scared😅🙌🏻
I do already have lots of plans, let's see where I go this time. Maybe I'll learn a new language, maybe I'll see Five Finger Death Punch, maybe I'll try and read 10+ books. Maybe this year holds a lot of unknowing, but let's walk into this chaos with a smile. We got this shit! by @essence.meyer

Yesterday I fought for the right to my own bodily autonomy, I fought for the PARENTS who can barely afford to make ends meet to pay rent, feed their kids and still have money to save. I'm fighting for the right to say FUCK THE PRESIDENT since he can barely even do his duties in office. I'm fighting for the THOUSANDS of kids who have lost their lives to gun violence, and the thousands more who have lived through a school shooting and woke up the next day terrified to go to school. I'm fighting for my sister's, so they may grow up knowing they are more than just baby makers. So they know that they are smart and they are strong and they can be whoever they want to be. To my sister's I hope you know the taste of security and confidence bc you deserve a life to call your own. I'm fighting for my brothers so they may understand that they have feelings too and you are not defined by how many lbs you can lift or how many women you talk down to. To my brothers I hope you know that it's ok to cry and to make mistakes bc you are human too. I want everyone to imagine what freedom looks like bc it's not this. We can make changes with numbers. As a child I was told I must be SEEN and not HEARD. Today I'm sure as hell not listening to that bullshit anymore. I will cause chaos, I will be defiant and I will piss you off. We're fighting a fascist America and you are either with me or you're against me. It wasn't just a no kings protest, but if you're saying "we don't have a king" open your FUCKING EYES TO WHAT TRUMP IS TRYING TO DO. IM PISSED THAT PEOPLE CAN EVEN SIT HERE AND SAY THAT, WHEN THEY KNOW RIGHTS ARE BEING STRIPPED FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUR NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS. MEN WHO SUPPORT TRUMP SAY THEY'RE FAMILY MEN THEN SUPPORT A MAN WHO IS RIPPING APART FAMILIES AND MAKING YOUR FAMILY WORK TEN TIMES HARDER TO SUPPORT SOMEONE WHO BARELY EVEN KNOWS THE WORD RESPECT. IM TIRED OF GETTING TOLD IM WRONG FOR WANTING PEACE. IM TIRED OF KNOWING I HAVE FAMILY WHO SUPPORT TRUMP MORE THAN THEY SUPPORT COMMUNITY. I'm tired of fighting. I'm tired of waking up everyday being scared for my life. Im done, but I'm sure as hell not fuckin finished just yet. by @essence.meyer

Cheers to good friends, $15 shots, and Nashville!! More or less could call it the city of stairs considering in three days I walked around 60 flights of stairs. Granted Cody was able to be THE chalantiest of the nonchalantly for his birthday👹🔥🤠🙌🏻
