A little while ago I had my portrait captured by @tosin.p , which means I got to experience and be apart of the beautiful process of making art the slow and steady way. I really appreciate moments like this, when I get to interact with art forms outside of fashion, that remind me how the most beautiful things are often created from patience and stillness. Going back to the older ways of doing things instead of succumbing to the pressure of adopting new “innovative” and “efficient” ways of doing and making.

I’m endlessly grateful for the artists I get to meet & connect with simply as a result of putting my work out there. Thanks Tosin for thinking of me and for being so careful in your craft!

My favorite website since I was 14 wants to help me grow on their platform. After hearing “I saw your dresses on @pinterest !“ so much it’s about time I learn how to show up intentionally over there. So excited to grow, create, and learn alongside some truly impressive and knowledgeable creators.

Thank you so much to @tori_zack and @keelix for all the work you put into this program. It’s already been so rewarding!

🎂 Last week was my birthday & I was weird about it again.

Now that it’s over, I just wanna say that I’m so so grateful for another year & I wouldn’t want any other life than the one I’ve been so blessed to live.

Thank you for all the birthday calls & messages. I’m SO sorry I forgot to get off dnd lol.💔

My latest side quest: designing merch for @aniahoo ✨

I grew an interest in graphic design as a byproduct of fashion design, and during the pandemic, through creator’s like @kel.lauren I got interested in merch. I did conceptual mockups as a hobby, but hadn’t really had a chance to revisit it until now.

Thank you so much to Ania and @gabbie.gib for trusting me and seeing the vision. I can’t wait to do more projects like this. 💕
