In Ayurveda, life is not sustained through rigid commands, but through sensing, adapting, and returning to the rhythm that is right for each moment.

Working almost 12 - 15 hours a day, movement has become essential for me—not as another task to complete, but as a way to return to myself and also helping me buttering my joints

@midlground’s approach to movement has helped me enormously. It reminds me that movement is not about controlling isolated parts of the body or forcing it into a shape, but allowing the whole body to listen, coordinate, and rediscover its own intelligence.

Not more effort.
Not more control.
But learning to move with life.

Learning to witness life as it moves through us—our emotions, patterns, and changing conditions—without being carried away by them or trying to control them. by @essensian

In Ayurveda and the yogic traditions, a human being is understood as more than a physical body.

A physical point can also be understood in relationship to subtler dimensions of our being — the etheric, astral, and the Koshas.

For this reason, a therapist’s work is not simply about working on muscles, tissues, or physical structures.

It is also about understanding how breath, sensation, attention, emotions, and inner states interact with the physical body.

This is where therapy moves beyond simply “treating a painful area.”

For women experiencing uterine or pelvic concerns, we often focus on the lower abdomen, hips, or pelvic floor.

Yet a feeling of heaviness in the chest, restricted breathing, tension through the shoulders and rib cage may also be part of the same story.

When we only work where the symptom appears, we may miss the relationships that are helping to maintain it.

Holistic does not mean doing more things to more parts.

Holistic means seeing the parts within one whole, and allowing them to move toward one shared direction.

At Essensian, therapy therefore does not stop at the physical body.

We work through the Kosha, from what can be felt and experienced in the physical body, through breath, sensation, and mind, toward subtler dimensions of being.

Not to treat each layer separately,

but to understand the relationship between them — and help the whole return in the same direction.

Well-being according to nature : Not adding more interventions to the body. But creating the conditions for the whole of life to return to its own harmony. by @essensian

Scent is not simply something we smell.
It is something we remember, feel, and experience.

There are things that enter us not through words, but through a more ancient doorway — the senses.

A scent can awaken a memory, soften the mind, change the way we breathe, and gently bring our awareness back to ourselves.

Perhaps this is why humans have worked with aromatic plants long before we called it aromatherapy.

Essential oils are not merely something to use.
They are a way of meeting nature through the senses. by @essensian

Before coming 🇮🇩 to learn about movement, I spent many quiet days sitting with one thought: Women do not need more. Women need to be understood and loved.

But I still didn’t know how to turn that belief into a real practice.

Then, in a very mysterious way, life brought me closer to this teacher Olga!

To me, that has been a true privilege.

Through movement, I began to see a missing piece that I had been searching for over many years — an approach that is incredibly simple, yet can touch so many layers of health: the nervous system, prana, the musculoskeletal system, emotions, the mind, energy… and the way a woman returns to her own body.

Perhaps what I had been searching for all this time was not another method.

Perhaps caring for a woman does not mean giving her more and more things to do. It means finding an intervention that is precise enough, simple enough, and holistic enough that one practice can touch many layers at once.

And perhaps, that is what I have been looking for all along.

One movement, yet it can invite the body to feel itself again — helping the nervous system regulate, allowing prana to flow, reorganizing the body through movement, giving emotions space to move through, and awakening energy.

And at the center of all of this is not doing more.

It is awareness.

When a woman begins to feel her own body, understand what is happening within it, and learn how to listen, caring for herself is no longer a list of things she has to do.

It becomes a way of living.

Simpler. Less. But deeper.

And with this, the final piece of my journey back to the womb — the home of life — has come into place:

learning to live through movement, every day. staying rooted in my own body

So that the body is no longer cared for only during a treatment session, but listened to through every step, every breath, every stretch, every time we bend, rest, and return to ourselves.

Hope one day, I can invite Olga to Vietnam and our dear sisters can experience this experience like I did.

Now, heading home and serve our dear sisters in Vietnam 🇻🇳

With love,
From Indonesia 🇮🇩 to the Essensian family

It is not about the beauty of the movement.

And yet, the beauty of the movement was what first brought me to Teacher Olga.

What I found here is the beauty of nature itself: the naturalness of movement combined with an extraordinary level of awareness.

I can see how deeply she understands her own movement, and yet there is no sense of control or effort to make it happen. She knows what she is doing, but she does not seem to interfere with the movement. There is a naturalness in it that my eyes can sense, even before my mind can put it into words.

Working in energy medicine, there are two things I pay the most attention to: energy and awareness.

And this practice has both.

I believe you can find many wonderful movement teachers who help you reconnect with your body through softness, sensitivity, and emotional awareness. But what I found here feels different.

It is the energy system that Olga has woven into the practice.

You can feel your body, but at the same time, you can develop and cultivate energy through movement.

There is a whole energetic flow that she has built into the practice — weaving together what she has found valuable in the energetic principles of movement and martial traditions, with her own continuous exploration of the body.

And perhaps this is what I find most beautiful.

It feels like she has spent years exploring her own body, discovering what is true through her own experience, and turning those discoveries into a practice that she can share.

She has shown me a path and has planted a seed in me.

Learning with her, I truly believe that one day I will move beautifully. Not only because I am learning to move freely, but because I am beginning to discover what beauty really means: the beauty we see in nature is not created by trying to be beautiful. It comes from being fully alive - rich in energy, deeply aware and completely present in every moment.

Like a tree moving with the wind, a fish moving through the water, or a tiger chasing its prey…

Thank you, our dear teacher @olgamidlground, for opening this door for me.

With all my gratitude, I am taking this journey home with me.#olgamidlground #midlground #movement #flow by @essensian

I grew up carrying the belief that I wasn’t good at movement or rhythm. I was afraid to dance in front of other people, even after I started practicing yoga. I began to understand my body more deeply, but I still didn’t believe that I could move freely.

This was the first time I had ever joined a movement class in another country — a class that had very little to do with the work I do. Yet there was something deeply compelling about Olga, and I decided to come and meet her with my sister.

She guided me on an inward journey, where I could awkwardly, yet confidently, reconnect with my body. I love the way she teaches — both deeply serious and wonderfully open.

Today, she taught us about connection through movement, about oneness through movement, and about the “school of fish”. I found myself deeply moved by it.

We can live within ourselves, rooted in our own awareness, while also extending that awareness into the space around us — sensing one another, understanding one another, and finding harmony together. We can remain ourselves, yet move as one.

Thank you so much, our dear teacher Olga @olgamidlground - as you are not just teacher of movement, but also my teacher in the way of living and being!

Are you happy with your ordinary life?
Not because anyone is watching.
Not because you have to look happy.
Just because you are. by @essensian

To me, the depth of a healing art cannot be separated from culture.
Healing cannot exist apart from belief, or from the way people live together in a society.

Because it is through the way we connect — or lose connection —
that something within us falls out of balance,
or gently returns to it.

I don’t want people to come to Vietnam
and experience wellness as something detached from life.
Wellness is born from life itself.

By chance, I found a small village at the foot of a mountain.
The people there are gentle and open.
They smile every time they see us pass by.

There is something in their presence
that softens hearts once dulled by the city —
a quiet sincerity that lives in their eyes.

And somehow,
they have allowed us
to become
“healers”
on the open fields… by @essensian
