this post is very near and dear to me. I am never one to open up about my own struggles but I have come to realise sharing this part of my life is not only about me, it’s also about the awareness it gives to people reading this and breaking the stigma of not talking about suicide and depression. By sharing this, others see they are not alone and it shouldn’t be a topic to be whispered about. Seeing characters that are written so beautifully and accurately with struggles like depression or suicide make me emotional, having personally been on that breaking point of planning to take my life multiple times. Especially the characters in the addicted universe or just written by Krista and Becca Ritchie, always give me a safe place to go back to or find comfort in. hiyaa!! I know I’m a bit late with this since we’re already halfway through September.. but I thought it might motivate me to actually be productive and read more than the two books I’ve only read this month. I am currently 27 books behind on my reading goal (I was feel very ambitious putting 100 books as my reading goal when January first hit, let’s not talk about it) I’m so excited for the darker months!! I am an autumn girl trough and trough and loathe summer with my whole being. I’m still trying to find my own thing with this account but @callowayfairy autumn hopefuls post inspired me to make my own!! I started the month of with reading the inheritance games which was the best decision I could’ve made!! I love Avery, the Hawthornes, the mystery and riddles. Reading this trilogy was a must before returning to my beloved naturals reread in preparation for dangerous impulses which I’m sooo giddy for. Nightshade has been on my radar for months and months, I just never found the perfect time to read it but am definitely aiming to buddy read it this month!! So excited to also recieve my fairyloot special editions of them <3 And obviously an acotar reread is necessary since I read this two years ago and don’t remember anything about a Koschei which will be a mayor problem.. I am hoping to reread the first two books this month then the rest next month combined with crescent city (I am being hopeful a very rare occurrence) I can’t wait to go back to the magnificent north with Evangeline and Jacks πŸ’“ I absolutely love ouabh!! So looking forward to seeing the art inside the book (and hopefully some chaoslala crumbs 🀞🏻🀞🏻) my personal favourite anticipated book release this month would be Mortdale <3 the excitement of meeting Willow and Logan (yes and Thomas) is killing me!! I’m forcing myself to wait till my copy arrives which is proving rather difficult. I am sure after finishing it I’ll dive straight into Wendy Heiss’s other books πŸ€— And ofcourse I would not be myself if I wasn’t currently watching a crime show specifically castle. I’ve watched this countless of times and it just never gets old!! The mentalist is a must watch, I started it a year ago but neve by @essentiallyrosecalloway

It’s been a whole year since the start of an empire!! Burn Bright where it all began.. Ben and Harriet are so dear to me and I couldn’t have wished for a better first book in the cobalt empire!! Not only did I have a good time reading this book but I also immensely related to Ben struggling with undiagnosed ocd. I’ve learned and grown so much since reading Burn Bright for the first time and it’s still such a comfort read to fall back on. This is why the Cobalt Empire is so special to me!! I see myself in every Cobalt and feel at home when reading these books πŸ’Œβ€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή Happy one year to Ben and Harriet <3 I cannot believe we’re almost halfway through the empire!! hi hiii it’s been a few days since I’ve been active. I simply haven’t been feeling good the last couple of weeks but I’ll be right back to posting and interacting with others!!
