Ci sono capi che non si limitano a vestire il corpo, ma raccontano una storia che attraversa le generazioni. Vi presento il “Kimono Giappo-Pugliese”.

Questo completo — composto da kimono e pantalone — racchiude un cerchio che si chiude. Nasce lo scorso anno dalla collaborazione con un caro amico designer, che ha serigrafato a mano questa stoffa ispirandosi ai ricci pugliesi.

Ma non è un motivo qualunque: è un omaggio a suo nonno, che in quella specifica caletta leccese passava le giornate a mare a pescare i ricci. 🌊🦔

Insieme abbiamo dato forma a questo tessuto per un'occasione speciale: l'abito che il mio amico ha indossato per il matrimonio di suo fratello. Da sarta, modellista e costumista, cucire queste linee è stato come cucire insieme i ricordi di famiglia, l'artigianato e il territorio.

Far dialogare la tradizione di un taglio lontano con la memoria profonda della nostra terra. Questo è per me l'alto artigianato. Che ve ne pare?

The Zebra Street Band

The Zebra Street Band creates a highly energetic music that is both artistic and infectiously danceable.
Myriad styles melt together into a repertoire that echoes Africa and the Caribbeans as well as jazz and breakbeat.
Moments of groove alternating with floating textures and collective improvisations.
Every member of the band is a strong soloist and improviser and this allows the music to come out fresh and new with each performance. No piece is played the same way twice.
The band has released two acclaimed albums (ZeBrass, 2018 and Shirwku, 2022). A celebratory street band on the surface, but far too experimental to be pinned down their collective improvisations and irresistible grooves are guaranteed to get every crowd moving.

Il Primo Maggio è la festa dei lavoratori. Il diritto al lavoro è strettamente connesso con il diritto alla vita. Questo poster riporta esattamente un volantino fatto a Napoli nel 1978. Si tratta di una riunione di contrabbandieri napoletani che svolgono l'attività illegale in assenza di serie alternative (non) fornite da uno Stato assente.
La speranza è che in un futuro tutti gli esseri umani possano esercitare dignitosamente il loro diritto alla vita attraverso il diritto al lavoro.
