A year ago today, I got baptized and rededicated my life to Jesus!! Now … let me tell you why 😇🩷💒🤗❣️!!I am an imperfect person. I get tempted, I make mistakes, I mess up. Ouch. Hard to write when we live in SUCH a “perfected” world on social media! Because of my imperfections and sin, I was separated from God. Because of this separation, a sacrifice was necessary in order for me to develop a relationship with Him. And that’s where Jesus steps in. Jesus !! ☺️He walked a perfect, blameless, sinless life here on earth. He was perfectly in line with the will of His Father and decided to give his life as the ultimate sacrifice of love. He chose to die a harsh and unfair death so that we may have a relationship with Him and the Father. This man did not mess up once, but yet chose to carry our burdens and sins to the cross to forgive every one of them. A powerful, powerful action and presentation of love. Someone willing to lay down His life, when He didn’t do anything to deserve it. Just to keep us. To save us. To love us. God wants that relationship with you. So much so, that he sent His Son to die in our place. (John 3:16) 🩷To Him, you are important. And cared for. And loved. We are His precious creation, but he wants YOU to become His precious child😇 The Father calls those who belong to Him, His children. (1 John 3:1) !!!We are cared for, and forgiven. We are loved beyond measure by the grace of God. So, I encourage you, to pursue the Lord, Jesus Christ as your savior! Allow Him into your life and watch Him change everything around you from death to LIFE! Sorrow to JOY! Pain to EVERLASTING LOVE 🩷🩷🩷 (Psalms 103:17) A time is approaching where He will return and call those who are His to join Him, to praise and rejoice the Father in heaven forever amen! So choose who you worship wisely, because there is only one who will remain when this earth fades away. And His almighty name is JESUS 😇!! by @essiedeann
