Oahu was so beautiful and breathtaking! This is my first time going back to Hawaii in almost 10 years and my first time in Oahu. The last time I went to Hawaii, my great grandma who was born in Hawaii was still alive, and my grandpa was still alive. This was the first time I went back without any family besides, my son. I definitely was emotional showing him some parts of our ancestry, knowing that the people that built it for my family are no longer with us. Hawaii will always have a piece of my soul because it’s where one of the most important people in my life was raised & part of my family is from. There was a lot of rain, so I didn’t get to do as much as I wanted to, but we still made the most out of it and I had the best birthday and time ever.A hui ho, until we meet again. taken in Honolulu, Hawaii by @essiethedon_

Antigua 🇦🇬 I am getting emotional writing this because I feel like I never connected emotionally to a place as much as I did here. Growing up I rode horses so getting to ride these beautiful animals on such a gorgeous beach was truly a once in a lifetime moment. The tour guides were the most amazing people inside and out I felt like family and I only knew them for a few hours. I then went on a champagne and pineapple catamaran ride and got pulled on a float by a small boat and flew off far as hell and ripped a nail off. I was so lit and having such a good time idgaf. I learned about island life, no rush, just live and be cool. 🕶️ I miss it so much but I know imma be back (for carnival next time 😉) taken in St. John's by @essiethedon_

I got to be in St. Lucia for the day of my 30th bday and it was everything I could’ve wanted and more. The city was so beautiful, I tried banana ketchup and rum for the first time, took a bamboo raft ride to the ocean, got free shots by the nicest bartender and drank one too many rum punch 🤣🥲. Being here was truly a dream, oh and I got the remix to shake it to the max 🤣 taken in Castries, Saint Lucia by @essiethedon_

Sint Maarten was a whole vibe. The water is unreal, I got to walk on the bottom of the ocean with the fishes, eat jerk chicken and too many rum punch, and took my baby on his first jet ski ride (not pictured) lol. Oh I also heard the song shake it to the max for the first time here and proceeded to listen to it at every other island 🤣🤣🤣🇸🇽 taken in Sint Maarten by @essiethedon_

DR 🇩🇴 I’m coming back, went to a private beach and zip lined over the ocean and then went on ATVs. I went on this trip solo and I was super nervous for my first stop out of the country but everyone was so welcoming. I never felt alone in fact every excursion I said I was alone the group said no you’re with us. These people had infectious smiles and hearts. 💕 taken in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic by @essiethedon_
