I still don’t know how to find the right words to say goodbye to you. 💔🕊️ After 15+ years of friendship, it feels impossible to believe that I’m writing this instead of calling you, laughing with you, dancing with you, or simply having one of our conversations!

We shared so many chapters together. We danced together with Showstoppers and Purple Diamonds, and you served as my captain. You were such an AMAZING captain, and I’ll always be grateful for the way you led, encouraged, and carried yourself. You were someone I respected then, and I respected you even more as the years went on!

Then came Jackson State, where you became my FIRST roommate. 🥹💙 We went from being teammates and dance sisters to sharing a room and experiencing a whole different chapter of life together. Those memories will forever have a special place in my heart!

And even after all those years, our relationship continued to grow. You became one of my loyal clients, and that meant so much to me. You trusted me not only as your friend, but with your hair, your time, and your support. Every appointment, every conversation, every laugh..those moments were so much more than just a client sitting in my chair. It was another opportunity for us to catch up, laugh, talk, and continue the bond we had built over all those years!

Looking back, I realize just how many different roles you played in my life. You were my teammate. My captain. My first roommate. My client. But most importantly, you were my friend and my sister. ❤️

I wish I could have one more dance with you. One more conversation. One more appointment. One more laugh. One more “girllll, let me tell you…” 🥹💔 I would give anything for just one more moment!

Thank you for being loyal to me, believing in me, supporting me, and loving me through so many seasons of life. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of yours!

I will forever cherish the memories we made..from the dance floor, to Jackson State, to my salon chair, and every moment in between! Your legacy will forever shine through Maci!
