Google reminding me of my life timeline. Two years ago at @newportjazzfest -- It's been about five months since I've engaged in any sort of "live music." I've had time to reflect on the moments and artists that have had great, positive impact in my life. Missing these friends and musicians, some of whom I've spent most of my time with since high school and college. Looking forward to the day we can make music together in person again! taken in Newport Jazz Festival by @estar_musics

Thanks to all who came to listen and say hello at @detroitjazzfest I was grateful to see so many familiar faces before I move from detroit to nyc.

Wonderful to play with @kenjilee___ @jonathanbarahaltaylor and @bassistohnegesicht (Andy Peck)

Kenji’s Fortune Teller Trio is one of the most open, collaborative groups I’ve had the pleasure of playing with. If you haven’t, check out the new record on bandcamp.

Registration is live for Love Your Voice: Musical Improv For All Levels at the very first @yesannfest in Ann Arbor, MI on June 27.

Visit yesannfest.com/workshops to register.

I can't wait to facilitate this workshop designed for anyone looking to build confidence in their singing voice in a supportive environment.

Ann Arbor was fundamental in my growth as an improviser, in both music and comedy. In Love Your Voice, we'll explore these two worlds in harmony.

Endless love working with the incredible creative folks of southeast Michigan over a quick visit. Ten music lessons, a solo show devising sesh, and coached a great new improv duo @makingbrainmagic

Had a grand time improvising with my old buds @hearsaytony + @chromatoform at Ann Arbor's newest comedy theater @hearsaytheater and seeing the brilliant @heidisherick @edutcorp @ahughe13 @awoltheater

Dropped in at the new @dreamloudermusic -- @danpalmermusic debut record as a bandleader incoming.

And rounded it out with some wholesome fun at @planetanthometeam

Back to city sounds.

P.S. Hit me up if you'd like to book a lesson or coaching session in nyc or virtually. taken in Lake Michigan by @estar_musics

there is always a weight
until there is none
that forked road is just a feather

a few thoughts --

hey, did you know today is a day of trans visibility?

may we give ourselves extra care and attention today, and pass that along and along and along. our world must learn to uplift and honor the rights of every person. there are long days and nights ahead.

the end of march brought spontaneous collaborative play -- @durstianaffect :: aidan cafferty :: josh silver
