Yo … we are opening up a new crate for yall. See Below & Stream👇 - eB83 & MRL ONE

ALERT312 // CRATE COLLECTION ONE:

“When I opened up the most recent beat bin MRL ONE was producing for future releases—primarily eB83 solo projects—I began to get lost in the special body of work that Lolo, Moral One, and I had created through ALERT312’s sound over the past decade and a half. It’s special to have songs that still speak prophetically to our times, and art that is worth taking out of the proverbial memory crate.
So, like a moment we all know well—when we crack open boxes of memories in the basement—MRL ONE and I started to craft reimagined versions of ALERT312 songs. Using record samples built up over time, newly laced drum programming, and archival sound bites, we allowed each track to evolve into the newly adapted body of work we call Crate Collection One.
Similar to our collage-based art style, the compositions evolved as mash-ups, medleys, and newly inspired takes on songs that still speak profoundly—or are just simply a pure joy to flip. Like a photo album or show-flyer black book, this series is an ongoing project—a deep dive into eB’s composition books and the group’s deep record bins.
The first offering is The Master’s Atonement, and each track gives a nod to its original penmanship date, for all the heads out there who still rock with us.
While we work on new projects—both trio and solo—enjoy these newly adapted, soulful, boom-bap boxes of memories, now… re-spun.”

[Solo Work Description] 🖊️

eB83’s Sacred Sound St. — Debut Memoir Album

Sacred Sound St. is the debut memoir album from eB83—artist, emcee storyteller, and 1/3 of the hip hop group Alert312. This is the first solo release of its kind from eB83: a deeply personal, art-bending body of work built from stacks of lyric journals, black book sketches, and years of late-night conversations and beats with producer MRLONE.
What began as a solo creative exercise evolved into Crate Collections—a growing series of albums, visuals, and stories rooted in hip hop’s essence and eB’s lived experience. Sacred Sound St. is the first installment, setting the tone for the journey ahead: raw, reflective, faith-filled, and unflinchingly honest.
Each track, sketch, and beat invites listeners to walk with eB83 through memory and meaning—where the streets and their sounds are sculpted from a sacred place- one walked out with Jesus Christ through street-art and daily journals. Live music has framed the ALERT312 & Berto Ramon expressions previous to this solo endeavor by eB83. This time he and MRLONE decided to come full circle and return to the essence- simple, stripped down, soulful hip hop..
This isn’t just an album. It’s part memoir, part mixtape, part sketchbook, and all heart.

🐘 “so… we dropped another flashback track from the Crate Collection One. Still, if not more, relevant today than 13 years back when it was written and released. ‘Boom biddy bye bye’ to pride still chants out and with our eye on Jesus as our Beautiful Lord and his humility (Phil 2) we cry out to His bride to kill the theatrics of self-interest and give authentic glory to God. Grab the track and let it ring out… a prayer to kill all the proverbial elephants in our hearts and lay low that Christ would increase in His renown.” -eB & mrl one

Listen to the ALERT312 memory box re-opened and reprised … Crate Collection 1. 2 songs out now:

Reflections:

“Everybody’s got a drawer they open. Staring down you get pricked because those elements from the past got pretense emotions: joy, sadness, loss, reflections of faithfulness, human touches that are gone, songs that you hum again, whispers of what you want in yourself again, child like faith, reconciliation of strains, so on and so forth… that’s one reason songs are so important. They house all of those human-made memories like psalms and ultimately let the Creator help you process it all. I just love songs… for me they are timeless prayers, poems of life seasons, and hints of eternal melodies” // - eB83 // Crate Collection 1 by @alert312_music taken in Chicago, Illinois by @estebanshedd

“Glory” reimagined = Glory Thieves 02.07.’14
ALERT312 Crate Collection 1

“We originally wrote this song while @wearehumblebeast was expanding with various artists coming on. We had released the Red Opus EP and thought it would be fresh to lock in with other newer artists on the label. The results were the Singular Vision eP featuring good friends and greats artist who also loved the Lord and rocked with the Alert & SL vision - we had Lee Green jump on the hook, also @eshonburgundy @jackiehillperry @amishobaraka and @iamtragichero came on other songs to build what become a special release and a fresh time of friends making music and ministering together. These times are cherished and often skipped over too easily for the making of a “product”. Glory Thieves celebrates that some messages are worth repeating over and over because we need them over and over.” -eB

Using record samples built up over time, newly laced drum programming, and archival sound bites, we allowed each track to evolve into the newly adapted body of work we call Crate Collection One. As always, the Holy Spirit and Scripture guide our musical process // Psalm 90:12 was that psalm that galvanized the selections for this first crate. Each sing released won’t time out, in the sense that they speak to Truth that doesn’t fade no matter the decade… “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
