POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Sometimes you just have to show up for the work you've created. 🎬

Tonight, The Narrow Road brought me to the Baltimore Screenwriters Competition Celebration at Baltimore City Hall.

And I have to give love to my colleague Esterline and Cursed Art. There’s something special about being able to celebrate another creative while continuing to grow in your own journey.

Still learning. Still creating. Still taking the road wherever it leads.

Grateful for the experience, the community, and every room our stories allow us to enter. ✍🏾🎥

Esterline’s passion for storytelling developed as a young child when she began reading as a way to pass time and since then she’s become an avid reader, finding appreciation in the art of telling stories, imagining new worlds, and creating dynamic characters. Currently, Esterline’s stories focus on her Haitian identity and heritage with emphasis on themes she’s grappling with in her journey of self-discovery, unlearning and learning things that shaped her, themes such as cultural roots, familial relationships, ancestral connections, death, and magical realism.

In this workshop, she will be working on her new play, Birthday Wish. by @esterline_vielot
