🚨🎥🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! 🚨🎥🚨

Last summer in NYC, I was lucky enough to co-star with @ui.mihara_official in @kenichiugana’s new movie “I Fell In Love With A Z-Grade Director In Brooklyn”. Today, I am beyond thrilled to announce that our strange little rom-com has been selected for the first wave of titles at the internationally known @fantasiafestival in Montreal this July!

It was a truly mind-blowing experience to have made this with a mixed Japanese/American cast and crew, and now it’s equally insane that our independent labor of love is gonna be shown to so many people!! ❤️🤪🤯

Humongo bungo thanks to @bad.taste.video for producing this, and the endless hours and passion everyone involved brought to this movie!

@javapostproduction has been flipping #FLAPJAX!

Java Post is providing colour grading, visual effects (VFX), and final mastering services for the movie FLAPJAX.

A @bad.taste.video production, this sci-fi horror-comedy feature tells the tale of an over-eager fast-food manager tasked with reviving a highly addictive menu item called “FLAPJAX” to save his fast-food company from bankruptcy, unknowingly executing the plans of an alien race.

The film is written by @estevan.etc Estevan Muñoz and @rockozroll Rocko Zevenbergen, and directed by Rocko Zevenbergen. The movie was shot in New York, where the director lives, and we’re very pleased that Rocko travelled from NY, NY to Regina to spend a few days at the Java Post office, working closely with our Dolby Vision-certified colourist, @javajack “Java Jack” Tunnicliffe.

Thanks for hanging out with us for a few days at Java Post Production, Rocko. It was a blast!

FLAPJAX, the feature length script @rockozroll and me wrote & rewrote for three years starting back in late 2020, has finally finished filming and will be edited by the end of this year!

An amazing cast and crew from 2023 to now have brought it all together and I thank you all from the bottom of my ❤️.

‘Este Does Not Make A Movie’, the feature film I starred in with Ryan from @turriproductions and co-wrote with my brother and director/editor @n1c0444 long agooo, will be AVAILABLE ON TUBI starting November 25th, thanks to @bayviewent and @bad.taste.video

The TUBI CUT has an updated sound mix, along with a newly cut trailer watchable above.

Had a FRIGHTASTIC time at @tadfilmfest repping @kenichiugana ‘s I FELL IN LOVE WITH A Z GRADE DIRECTOR IN BROOKLYN.

@rockozroll even got so excited, he attempted to re-create the “Tequila” sequence from Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure at the legendary @dublincallingto … but when @estevan.etc attempted to join in, Rocko toppled off and sprained his knee! 💃🕺💥😫🤕
