On 9/3 we celebrated three years of traditional marriage and 1 month of our white wedding. All glory and honor belongs to God for sustaining and blessing us! God has been so good to us and I am in awe of where my husband and I are as individuals in Christ and as a unit in Christ! •

When we first got married, I didn’t fully understand what it meant to be a wife. The idea of submission was foreign to me and I thought it was old school because I’m “an independent woman” who could do it all😅. However, in the last three years, God has truly humbled me and showed me what it means to submit. Submission is not what the secular world wants you to believe. It’s not bad and it’s not your husband dominating and controlling you as you follow blindly. I realized that my submission first had to be to God’s will and in-turn to my husband. •

God is so intentional that He gives us wise counsel and instruction on how to thrive 🙌🏾. The Bible tells wives to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord and for husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the church! (Ephesians 5:22-33). He knows each and every one of us inside and out. He helps us in the very areas that we deem difficult because He loves us so much. So much so that He instructs husbands to the same! My marriage has been extra blessed since we both fully surrendered to God. I thank God for every moment and for the ministries He is birthing in us! Greater is yet to come and I stand in expectation of the manifestations of His promises! What a way to close out 2025!🙌🏾 For our final Sunday of the year, MIT @esther_esq brought a powerful and timely word: “Prophecy Fulfilled.”

Diving into Luke 2, she reminded us that God is a promise-keeper. Just as the birth of Christ was the ultimate fulfillment of His Word, we can enter 2026 with confidence knowing that what God has spoken over our lives must come to pass! 📖✨
