HOLY MOLY!

where to even begin ....
these women, this day. it was everything my little heart had dreamed up & then so much more on top.
i had one vision of what i wanted my wedding morning to look like + this sums it to a T.
the women who have walked by me through thick & thin through various seasons of this beautiful + crazy wild life.
the raw, real, heavy, joyous & full.
Lauren, Abi, Emily, Nikki, Erin, Alex, Dani, Alaina..
each have such a dear & drastically precious place in the etches of where i keep my most treasured people.
my chosen women. my bridesmaids, but they got to stand by me on my wedding day in a very untraditional & stunning momentous way.
i washed their feet because i wanted to honour them & who they've been to me over the years. i wanted to speak life over them & thank them in a way i knew another opportunity may not come & this could be it.
im so ridiculously blessed and thankful for them. it's not lost on me just how lucky i am to call them friends & sisters.
but how grateful i am also for my dearest Mama & MIL & SIL & sisters of childhood besties who also surrounded me with such love & grace.
oh how ive seen the goodness of God.

never cried so much in my life...could've been a funeral haha!

We got the lass wed. In like 8 weeks. Shotgun and shooting for the Heavens.

It was a magical 3 days and I'm so thankful to a God who listened to my sister's every need.
This man is of Him and I'm so delighted to see where the good Lord leads you both.
Got a mini reunion also with the lovely @alexandramazzei and I could not feel more full. (Even if I wailed dropping Aly off to the airport-never gets easy having your besties in dif states).
What a moment, what a few days.
Praise Be.

Essy my prose for you in my speechy-poem.

She stood on mountain top praying to a father with such reverence and trust
She
Wide open and wandering
She
Firm with her footing
She
Held captive doubt and desolation
Listened to the whispers of her beloved
The next steps always innovated
She leaned into His truth
His plan
To find the man who would enchant her
Love her
Meet her
Hold her
That
She
Did.

To be betrothed and to make one flesh
The two will cleave and leave there pasts behind
To embark on a new journey
State to state to state
Across Nullabours and red dust
To settle on the Western side

May the Western Australia's greet you and hold you as you start your new life together.
Us east coasting - 8-bridesmaid-sisters will be here to welcome you back when the Lord Wills it. Waaa.

feels good to finally getting round to sharing this day. 🤎

it's taken a hot minute , but in the midst of the wait 'afterlight' has stopped working for me & my grid aesthetic just got a hecken lot harder..

contemplating whether to keep it going.

on that note, loved celebrating these two beautiful souls.

family Christmas 2 0 2 2.
the Siebel gang get together every year , but actually on Christmas every second year.
it gets a little harder as time goes on because of inflation & because the tribe continues to grow ..
added 2 to the party in 2022 , so now 10 little offspring make it all the merrier.
what even was this time of year without them !?
it just reminds me how grateful i am to have them.
title of aunty is all the perks , but i love each of them as if they were mine. it's not a role i take lightly & am so honored & blessed by it.
this year we spent a week at a big 4 cabin park in Bonny Hills.
a skate each morning to say hello to everyone , coffee from the van , surf every day , good sri lankan food , & all the margis.
it was the most refreshing & relaxed i've been in forever.
would gladly do it all again.
