turns out the trick to cultivate joy in your everyday routines is to whimsify your life⋆˚꩜｡

as a 9-5 girly & masters student, my life is very much dictated by my routines & deadlines. it’s so easy to fall into that cyclical feeling of living the same day over and over but here are some small but impactful ways I try to romanticize my days!! 🌷

I loveee documenting my life & what I’m consuming on @thingsbook_official ⭐️ creating a digital diary is one of the easiest ways to be more active & present!!

what I got up to during my week off in victoria !! ⭑｡🌸𖦹°‧

it’s been over a year since I got to take time off and hop on a flight 🧚🏼‍♀️ it was much needed offline time (literally had no service while out in sooke 😌) to touch grass and just slow down ! often times, living in a busy, bustling city forces me to rush through my daily life and my stress becomes magnified. having a chance to enjoy a quiet, smaller city made my problems feel so small and I could actually hear my thoughts; I wasn’t running on autopilot. I fell in love with victoria in a way I didn’t expect 🩵

I finished Loved One by Aisha Muharrar and it was a stunner ⭐️ it was complicated and messy and oh so fun to breeze through ! how did you guys like it?

the tbr never stops growing but May We Feed the King by Rebecca Perry has absolutely enraptured my curiosity, and I must read it immediately ★

@bookofthemonth is a book subscription service that helps expose you to so many amazing reads, and their collection, The Offset, is perfect for readers (like me) who enjoy non-mainstream books!! anything literary or weird-girl lit, gimme!!!

if you want to try out your first book for $5, use the code LEAFY! 🌱

come cafe with me on my day off ✮⋆˙

I’ve been meaning to check out @nilecoffeeclub and it did notttt disappoint, I swear I am still thinking about that coffee 🍊

it’s been way too long since I just read and journalled at a cafe and my soul desperately needed this. I’m so happy I finally started When Breath Becomes Air, it’s truly just as amazing as everyone says ! sometimes I forget how fast I can read if I just give myself the time to do so :”)

how I stay sane as a busy girl, juggling a 9-5, my masters degree, and content creation ⋆⭑.ᐟ

I’ve been asked how I manage my time and such a busy schedule and tbh,,,, I still don’t know 😺 I just try to take things day by day while also planning at least a week ahead at a time. I also really try to prioritize self care and doing things to stay mentally sane when my schedule demands so much time and energy from me in so many facets of my life .ᐟ

I hope some of these tips help you in any way 🫶🏼 #productivity #9to5 #studentlife #contentcreation #bookstagram taken in Toronto, Ontario by @estherrvictory
