“A lovely lady called Rosemary”

🎞️Film: #vision3500t

📸Camera: #konicapearliii

🔭Lens: #hexar75mmf35

Don’t be fooled dear viewers, the lovely lady shown on slide 3 is not the titular Rosemary of this post, but instead the hilarious @chloereynoldscomedy who performed during my tenure in Edinbvrgh! The rosemary I speak of was a lovely, 71 year old lady from Northern Ireland who sat on the same bench as me as my leg was in excruciating pain and my mind was distraught and near inconsolable after one of me and my father’s small disagreements. Her and my conversation about her family’s castle and how wonderful the city was really brought me back to reality and ready to face the world. I bumped into her a few more times and it was lovely conversation. I hope she’s doing well ^-^ by @esthers_graflex_division

@bigmandoesska took me to Edinbvrgh for the fringe of 2026! Usual father-daughter squabbling aside, it was a lovely trip and Edinbvrgh is a beautiful place; I couldn’t help but use the good film here! :3 by @esthers_graflex_division

“Life in Limbo”

🎞️Film: @kodakprofessional #portra160

📸Camera: #konicapearliii

🔭Lens: #hexar75mmf35

Starting off strong we have a roll burned through a time of great instability for me. As MMU, ever slow and anxiety inducing, can’t verify my enrolment into year 3 of env sci so I’m left floating around town and campus, going through the “good film” with no way of getting new film once this has run out. I can only hope they get this sorted soon. by @esthers_graflex_division

“Grandad’s sunset”

🎞️Film: @kodakprofessional #gold200

📸Camera: #bronicasqa

🔭Lens: #zenzanons105mm

Grandad died in 2023. It sucked, bad. Not too long (though it felt like it was not long enough) the whole family got together and scattered his ashes. As my mother and Nana scaled the hills they threw him off, I was rushing to get a train back home after zoning out in Sackville gardens when I looked over the city I called home and saw the most beautiful, vibrant sunset I’ve seen in many moons. Wonderful pastel colours blessed my eyes and my lens. A rainbow over yonder as the barrow-in-Furness train passed by. Mum and Nana were visited by a Robbin on the hill, I saw one of the most beautiful natural sights I’ve ever seen. I miss my grandad. I’m not one to believe in superstitious things, but my grandad has visited me in my dreams, once or twice, with old conversations and ones I’ve never had with him. This felt like him smiling at me as he carried on his merry old walk over the hills of the great beyond. Happy birthday grandad, I love you 💜 by @esthers_graflex_division
