May this be a month of glimmers. Of finding God’s silhouette where youre not expecting it. Of tiny, golden miracles.

May this be a month of divine covering, and reminders that God is with you. If He calls you to it, He will cover you through it. There is nothing to fear. In every task and trial, He takes your hand and guides you towards wisdom and deeper discernment.

May this be the month where you sink two heels deep into believing that you are held by the vastest, most limitless kind of love and learn to operate out of that place.

Happy New Month! ✨🤎

Marveling: At the grand artist that God is 🥹 Forever in awe at just how much creation whispers what the heart can sometimes forget that: God is near, attentive, and faithful.

Grateful: For Community & my little village. I’ve found that there’s almost nothing in life we’re supposed to figure out on our own. So I’m deeply thankful for a community who pray with me, see me, love on me, and who find the prettiest restaurants Nairobi has to offer.

Added: ‘Can arrange flowers under pressure and minimal supervision’ to my LinkedIn skills tab, and I have since appeared in 10 searches 😂 Just Kidding! I truly do enjoy assembling blooms with everything in me.

Intentionally: anchoring myself in the word of God. Absolutely love how the word of God serves as a healing balm, anchor, sword and shield, in all seasons.

Recommending: S’mores and hot chocolate any day, every day and twice on a chilly Sunday. Drooling just by thinking about it 🤤 It’s worth the risk if you’re lactose- intolerant 🙈

Chasing: Sunrises in Kigali. Reminded how much I’m living in answered prayer 🥹 Praying that I can still my mind & heart long enough to be fully present, before racing to the next thing.

Sitting: by the fire a lot more lately. Still can’t light one to save my life, but I promise I bring the vibes. That’s exactly what I bring to the fire. 🙈

Spending: More time with my numero uno’s. I may be the shortest, but definitely the fairest of them. ☺️

Enjoying: Slower mornings this season. Here’s to more moments of slowing down enough to really notice, and find joy in the little things. 🍓🫐

Playing: with buddy more and more. Sometimes the simple joys have four legs and a wagging tail. 🐾🐶

Written: On the tablet of my heart is this psalm 🥹 There’s something deeply tender & assuring about realizing that we serve a God that restores, provides, leads, and comforts. A God whose presence is not a moment we stumble upon, but a continuous, unwavering reality:always near, always guiding, always faithful.

Making: This prayer that I penned down as I step into the new year! ✨ by @estherwanja

P O S T C A R D S F R O M Q1 ✨🤎

Grateful: For the small, big, and everything in- between, but especially for emails that find and leave me well. Serving this face to those that don’t. 🫣

Reading: The Reset by Jeremy Riddle that has completely stirred my heart in the most necessary ways. Here’s a little excerpt: “Without sacrifice there is no offering, nothing for fire to fall on. Reformation, revival, awakening and fire falling, are all just conference buzz words that will remain unrealized until someone is ready to lay their lives down.”

Adding: ‘Can arrange flowers under pressure and minimal supervision’ to my LinkedIn skills tab 🙈🌺

Living: Missionally. Reminded that the invitation was never to stay but GO. And that doesn’t have to look like going to a far away country or place. It may simply look like reaching out to whoever is within reach. Who is within reach for you and in need of a reminder or introduction to the love of Jesus?

Drinking: More and more of lemon tea, lemonade, lemon- ginger tea and less coffee. But, Java’s pepper- mint mocha still has me on chokehold.🤪

Visiting: Many books but pitching my tent in the Bible. Reminding myself over and over again, that the invitation was never to visit occasionally but to ABIDE.

Chasing: Sunsets and choosing the scenic routes over and over again. Find me in Nature always! 🍃

Daring: Greatly. Intentionally choosing to show up into arenas that would terrify me, if that’s where He is calling. Choosing to have the weight of conviction and obedience weigh heavier than any comfort, fear, doubt, or imposter syndrome. by @estherwanja

I recently came across the term “doldrums”. In geography, this term refers to a region of the ocean near the equator where there is no movement, no wind and a seemingly dead zone as a result of the collision of winds from the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.

Have you ever felt like you’ve landed in the “doldrums”.. like the winds of life have come at you from all sides and you’re left in a place where the wind has gone out of your sails and you feel devoid of strength.

Maybe the wind has completely knocked you off your feet, or completely shattered your sails and it feels like you’ll never leave the “dead zone.”

Here’s a truth I’ve been clinging to: God specializes in breathing life into seemingly dead things. I know this not just from scripture but because I’ve seen him breathe life into valleys I was certain were filled with dry bones in my life.

See, I don’t know what dry, long-dead, sun- scorched and without a trace of flesh ‘bones’ you may have before you. But, here’s what I know:

There’s no situation that is too dead for the breath of the Almighty to breathe into.
There is no illness too terminal for God to heal.
There is no bondage or chain too gripping that he cannot break through.
There is no relationship God cannot restore.
There is no chaos to which He cannot bring order to.
There is no mountain too great for God to move.
There is no need God cannot meet.

I dare you to begin to speak the word of the Lord (Ezekiel 37:4). Not your word, logic, the opinion of others, fear, anxiety or doubt. But HIS word.

I pray that you would dare to trust the giver of life with every seemingly dead and dry “bone” in your life.

I pray that in this new week, new day and every other day after that, that you would not merely function and go on about your business & schedule without the desire for God to breathe into your plans, desires and entire being.

I pray that you would experience the breath and winds of His Spirit, filling you with His power and reviving you with His strength so you can break free from the doldrums where you’ve been weary and move forward with His fresh wind and breath! ✨🤎 by @estherwanja

Just an incredibly grateful girl!

Lord, thank you for a new year! 🎈🎉🎊

Thank you for the ways you have provided for me.
Thank you for the ways you have turned my mourning into dancing.
Thank you for the ways you have lifted my head.
Thank you for the ways you have protected and been a shield around me.
Thank you for the ways you have carried, held and sustained me.
Thank you for the ways you have carved out in the wastelands, and the seas you have parted.

Thank you! 😭

End of Year Prayer ✨🤎

Dear God,

Thank you for getting me through 2024. Thank you for your inexhaustible supply of grace that has sustained and carried me through the year.

There were moments i felt like giving up, times when the weight of it all brought me to my knees. But, here I am, standing, not because of my own strength or sufficiency, but because of Yours. Because, you never let go nor lost sight of me, even for a single moment.

You were provider, in time of need
You were my strength, when i was weary
You were my hiding place and safe refuge, when the storm was raging
You were my good shepherd, protector, healer, defender, way maker and my light in the darkness.

As we go into 2025, my prayer is that you would give me a heart of surrender. Would my surrender not just be a motion of my lips but a heart posture.

Give me your eyes so i can see who you need me to see.

Give me ears connected to your heart. So speak Lord for i am listening. Listening to where you want me to go, who you need me to see and what you need me to say.

Give me ready feet. Ready to step into the obedience you are calling me into.

Give me your hands so I can reach beyond what feels comfortable.

Show me how to turn the volume down on the opinions that don’t matter and the praise that won’t fill me.

Would i be reminded that the invitation was never to visit the vine, but to abide in it.

So would you give me the grace and strength to stay anchored in you- everyday, every hour, and every moment of the new year.

Amen 🙏🏽

For many, Christmas is traditionally a time of good cheer, celebration, and a special time where we get to have a feast with our loved ones.

For some, Christmas is a painful reminder of pain, loss, and lack. My heart goes out to anyone who may be struggling to find joy in this season.

Those who may find themselves nursing a loved one;
Those who are grieving a loss during this season;
Those who are struggling to make ends meet;
Those that have a strained relationship with their family;
Those who are unable to be with their loved ones, either because of distance or because heaven is now their home.

I’m sending you so much love and whisphering a prayer for you.

This season may feel lonely, sad, and not as colorful or cheerful as the pictures on your your timeline. But, i pray you would find comfort and be reminded that, God cares ever so deeply, and is so present in our lives. We will never have to go through life alone. He is with us wherever we go, and will be with us wherever He leads.

He is Immanuel: God with us.
God with you.
God with me.

He isn’t merely mindful of us
He comes to dwell with us.

He is with us when we are weary, broken, unsure, in despair, when we feel forgotten, when we’re hurt and angry, when we feel so far and undeserving of His love. He is with us.
Then. Now. And always.

Know this with all your heart: He is Immanuel. The God who comes near. ✨🤎 by @estherwanja

May this be a month of bigger vision. The month where you expand your view. Enlarge your tents. I hope you dare to knock, and seek, and ask beyond the borders of your mind and what you think is possible.

May this be a month of glimmers. Offinding Gods silhouette where you’re not expecting it.

May this be a month where your sense of currency shifts-
From getting to giving.
From striving to serving.
From needing to be seen to operating from the overflow of the One who Sees You.

Happy New Month! 🤗
