POSTCARDS FROM PILGRIMAGE

For a few days, this was basically our entire world.

Gravel roads.
Big mountains.
Too much food.
Not enough excuses.

We climbed, descended, got rained on, got lost, got lucky, got very cold and very warm, sometimes within the same hour.

And somewhere between the climbs, the bakeries, the views and the occasional puncture, we remembered exactly why we came.

So this one is a little homage to the mountains.
A thank you to the people we shared them with.
And a small look back at a few days we won’t forget anytime soon.

@le_pilgrimage 2026.

We’d do it all again. by @estique.cc

SUMMER ISN’T OVER YET.

Still riding in Provence?
Spain? Nice? We got you in @rifugio_massacan area!
Somewhere with considerably more sun than here?

Good.

Our Summer Jersey and Zipperless Jersey were made for exactly that.

Light.
Soft.
Airy.
Easy to wear when the temperature climbs and the ride gets longer.

The Summer Jersey brings a little more airflow and freedom. The Zipperless keeps things even simpler; no zipper, no fuss, just a ridiculously comfortable jersey.

Because apparently, summer decided to stick around.

We’re not complaining. by @estique.cc

LE PILGRIMAGE - THE FINAL DAY

After a night in Italy, we set off early towards the top of Sommeiller.

25km of climbing.
18km of gravel.

The higher we got, the better the views.
And the colder it got.

What a climb.

On the way down, we ran into Vincent, currently making his way through the Alps Divide. A quick hello, then onwards for our final stamp.

From there, back into the valley and over Col de l’Échelle towards France.

A beautiful gravel track along the river took us back towards Briançon, followed by one final climb to the hotel.

And, naturally, a proper downpour to finish things off.

What a few days. 😍 taken in Col Du Sommelier by @estique.cc

DAY THREE. THE LONG STAGE.

First day of the long stage.

We headed towards Briançon, with a mandatory bakery stop before crossing into Italy via Col de Bousson.

Just before the top, the weather turned.
Heavy rain. Strong winds.
Soaked and freezing, we descended into the dry Piemonte valley.

Pizza fixed most of that.

A few extra focaccias in the pockets and onwards, via Basset to Strada dell’Assietta.

Then came a beautiful 1,500m descent, leaving us with just the valley towards Bardonecchia.

Now: food, shower, sleep.

Tomorrow: Colle del Sommeiller. taken in Strada dell'Assietta by @estique.cc

LE PILGRIMAGE - DAY TWO

A lovely descent to start the day, straight towards the first climb.

A few short hike-a-bikes to dodge the landslides, then another beautiful descent, this time towards the best bakery in the area.

Fully loaded with something delicious, we started the long climb towards Fort Janus.

A little time to enjoy the views, then back down towards Briançon. Unfortunately, with a slightly unreasonable number of punctures along the way.

A quick resupply, then back to the hotel.

Day two done.

LE PILGRIMAGE - DAY ONE.

We started the morning in extra layers but with this sunshine, they didn’t stay on for long.

A long descent to ease into the day, followed by a long climb towards the checkpoint where a delicious cheese fondue was waiting for us. Because apparently, nothing says “good idea” like fondue after a climb.

A little higher for the treasure, then two more climbs where things started getting properly warm. The windbreakers were officially promoted to backpack accessories.

But every climb came with a beautiful descent as a reward.

A pretty damn good first day. Slightly sweaty, very cheesy, absolutely worth it.

And yes, the Caramel Windbreaker is still available in our shop. Just in case you’re planning to wear it somewhere with less than 30 degrees. taken in Puy-Saint-Vincent by @estique.cc

SAME MOUNTAINS. DIFFERENT WEATHER.

Last year, we rode in the pouring rain.

This year?
30 degrees.
Blue skies.

Today was just a small ride.
A little spin.
A little sunshine.
A little time to unwind before we get going.

Tomorrow, the real thing starts.

LE PILGRIMAGE 2026

Months of looking forward to this one.

And now we’re here.

Today was for easing into it while riding up Plateau d’Emparis, taking in the views and reminding ourselves why we came.

The bikes are ready.
The crew is ready.
The legs… we’ll see.

@le_pilgrimage 2026, let’s go. More to come over the next few days. taken in Puy-Saint-Vincent by @estique.cc

KAMU X ESTIQUE — ALMOST GONE

The Kamu x Estique jersey is now genuinely down to the last few pieces. We’ve seen it all over the @kamubreda social rides, on coffee stops and generally being worn exactly as intended.

At Kamu, there are just a few XLs and some lonely S left. Online, we have one S, one L and one XXL.

And yes you can still use the 25% discount code (‘kamustq25’) we shared recently.

Just the last few. by @estique.cc

ZIPPERLESS

No zipper. No fuss. Almost no feeling of wearing a jersey at all.

The Zipperless Jersey is made for those who want things a little simpler: incredibly soft fabric, a clean silhouette and a lightweight feel that disappears once you’re on the bike.

No zipper digging in. No unnecessary structure. Just a smooth, comfortable fit that lets you focus on the ride.

Sounds a little different? Good.

Dare to leave the zipper behind.
Try it. You might not want to go back. by @estique.cc
