Another big ESTQ update - Home Quality Index. 🏠

We’re starting to answer a different question.

Not just: “How much will this project cost?”

But: “What do we actually know about this house?”

ESTQ now builds a Home Quality Index from 0 to 100 using property age, permit history and documented improvements.

But the score itself is only part of it.

We break the property down by major home systems - roof, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, foundation and structure - and show what we know, what looks aging, and what is still unknown.

Then ESTQ creates a property timeline from public records, showing documented improvements, dates, scope of work and available permit values.

And I think the most useful part is Things to Verify.

If the records show an old water heater, aging roof, or no electrical panel permit for decades, ESTQ doesn’t just flag it. You can go directly from that finding to an estimate for the corresponding project.

Property data -> potential issue -> estimated project cost.

And when the data isn’t there, we say UNKNOWN instead of pretending we know.

We started ESTQ around one simple idea - home improvement pricing should be transparent.

Now we’re expanding that idea.

Another milestone for ESTQ.

The ESTQ app is officially live on the Apple App Store.

What started as a simple idea - make home improvement pricing more transparent - is slowly becoming a real platform.

Homeowners can understand what projects should cost, explore real project data, check permits, get estimates, and now request bids directly from contractors.

Contractors can share their project data, receive new project opportunities, and connect directly with homeowners.

We recently passed 100 registered contractors, added ESTQ Bids, expanded into Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling, and now ESTQ has its own iOS app.

Still early. A lot to build.

But another important piece of the platform is now live.

🚀 The first version of ESTQ Bids is live.

Not every project can be fully explained by an instant price.

That’s why we built ESTQ Bids.

If the price from estqmate isn’t enough, or your project requires more details, you can now add additional project information and request bids directly from contractors.

Here’s how it works:

* Enter your address
* Select your project
* Add additional details about the work
* Submit it to ESTQ Bids

Once submitted, contractors registered on estq.io in the relevant trade will receive a notification about the new project and can submit their bids directly.

For homeowners, it means another way to understand the real market price before making a decision.

For contractors, it means access to real projects from homeowners actively looking for the work to be done.

We also added a new category to ESTQ:

Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

This is the first version of ESTQ Bids. We have a lot more planned.
