I grew up reading BIZARO by @danpiraro in my hometown newspaper’s funny pages and yet somehow am just now discovering this absolute GEM of a crossover between two of my favorite things. The Muppets and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Hi ho, Muppet freaks! I’m going to do more Kermit covers on my YouTube page! I’ve done Rainbow Connection and It Wasn’t Me, I’d LOVE song suggestions from fellow Muppetty folks. Songs can be funny (coming from Kermit) or sincere! Let me know!

Kermit The Frog ft. Animal of @themuppets singing “It Wasn’t Me” by the one and only @direalshaggy !

This has gotta be one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever had, and that one dumb idea in the middle of the night somehow led to four straight days of work to make it a reality.

PLEASE DON’T SUE ME DISNEY! 😅 I’m just a Muppet fan with too much creativity!

The full song is on my YouTube!

Jerry The Aging Hippie enjoying a bit of the ol’ Hippie Herb 💨💨💨
Back in his day, they called it “Thai Stick”, but don’t bother asking him why. He can’t remember.

One of my newest puppet creations: GROGG The Caveman! He loves this song because he understands the lyrics!

Kermit the Frog showed up at my house, sat down at my old Honky Tonk piano, and serenaded me with Rainbow Connection 🐸🥹

I’ve had this Kermit puppet ever since I was a kid, I’ve done some modifications to the inside to make it more flexible like the original Kermit.

I even brought this Kermit with me to the closing of Muppetvision 3-D, when I met Steve Whitmire and Heather Henson (and the incredible Imagineers that built Muppetvision 3-D).

I’ve been messing around with my Kermit impression for two decades. Mainly, focusing on sounding natural while performing. (And the puppetry, of course) I like to think my Kermit voice is a mix between Jim Henson’s, @steve_whitmire and now @welcomemattv ’s 💚

Let me know what you think! I hope you enjoy this tune! I usually can’t even hear this song without crying🥹 It just absolutely penetrates my soul.
