Finally a reliable train in Hungary 😂🇭🇺 by @eszterjules

Screaming along to this queer anthem in front of the Hungarian parliament healed something in me.
I can’t wait to see this country change 🇭🇺 by @eszterjules

E assim que aprendi o português.

Na chuva.
No meio do Carnaval, tentando ver o Sambódromo.
Sem entender quase nada.

Uma mulher bêbada dançando como se o mundo não existisse, cantando “chove chuva” com o coração inteiro.
A música ficou comigo.
A música brasileira e as conversas com as pessoas foram os únicos professores de português que eu já tive.

E sem perceber, essa língua criou algo completamente novo dentro de mim.

E toda vez que chove,
eu volto praquele começo. by @eszterjules

Art as regulation. Art as connection.

This collaboration brought together rope practice and tattoo art in a shared space of trust and awareness.

Through breath, presence, and nervous system regulation, the body shifted into a calmer state — allowing sensation to be experienced with more resilience and less resistance.

When the parasympathetic system is activated, the body can soften. And in that softness, endurance changes.

Grateful to collaborate with such talented artists and to witness how art can transform intensity into presence.

Stop 👏🏻 commenting 👏🏻 on 👏🏻 people’s 👏🏻 accents 👏🏻
We immigrants speak a multitude of languages y’all born and raised locals might not even know of! Hell, one of my friends speaks a language that doesn’t exist in written form!
An accent is often perceived as a lack of knowledge, intelligence or skill - a weakness. I grew up an immigrant and never lived in the country of my parents, so wherever I went, I either heard “oh, your (inset language) is so good for a foreigner” or “you have a weird accent”. Neither is a compliment, neither contributes to a respectful exchange between us, both make me feel othered. My highlight is that out of all my native languages, the one of my parents (Hungarian) is the one I have the strongest foreign accent and the smallest vocabulary in - people can clock pretty quickly that I never lived in Hungary.
So next time you wanna comment on someone’s accent - don’t 🫶🏻 by @eszterjules
