Throughout Eta Sigma week, the Brothers of the Eta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated brought our campuses and community together through service, fellowship, and engagement.

Last month together, we hosted a Leadership Workshop, a Black round table, a Fall Informational, and volunteered alongside a Non-Profit Eatery @scieats_scicook where we contributed in preparing, cooking, and serving 250+ meals to the unhoused.

Most importantly, we engaged all of our campuses, we spoke to real members of the community, and we created a space for us all the enjoy. Thank you all for attending.

Happy Charter Day to the Eta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc! 🧊

Today, we proudly celebrate 54 years of legacy, service, scholarship, and leadership throughout San Diego. Since its chartering, the Eta Sigma chapter has remained committed to uplifting our communities through programming, meaningful engagement, and the continued development of our Fraternity’s aims.

For more than five decades, generations of brothers have contributed to a legacy built on brotherhood, and a commitment to creating lasting impact throughout UCSD, SDSU, CSUSM, USD, and throughout the greater San Diego community.

Today, the Eta Sigma Chapter continues to move forward, building upon the foundation established by the brothers who came before us while advancing the work of the undergraduate San Diego Alphas.

As we celebrate 54 years, we honor our history, recognize those who have carried the chapter forward, and remain committed to strengthening the legacy for the generations of brothers yet to come.

Happy 54th Charter Day! 06! 🤙🏾🧊

This Wednesday, our chapter was proud to co-host and lead the Continued Academic Excellence Program (CAEP) alongside @zsl1906 !

We had the pleasure of welcoming students from Morse High School on an inspiring college tour across both @ucsandiego and @sandiegostateuniversity

Throughout the day, we highlighted campus amenities, academic facilities, and shared valuable insights into Black student life, community engagement, and the many opportunities for growth and success at both institutions, including both the @ucsdbrc and @sdsubrc .

A special thank you to everyone who made this experience impactful, in empowering the next generation of scholars to envision themselves on these campuses and beyond. ✊🏾🎓

The Brothers of the Eta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated recently attended the Southern California District Conference at Cal State Dominguez Hills as well as the 77th Western Regional Convention in Tucson, Arizona.

Our days were filled with workshops, conversations, and other activities that fostered brotherhood and facilitated fellowship.

One of the most notable moments of our recent WRC was when General President Bro. Lucien J. Metellus Jr. (@longshot1906 ) recognized us for our community work alongside our Men’s Mental Health Programming!

The brothers were even given airpods as a gift for their attendance at the convention.

The work only continues from here! San Diego sets the standard.

What’s up San Diego, here’s a recap of first our ICE COLD Tuesday of the year. 🥶🧊

We handed out yellow roses to women on the campuses of USD, UCSD, SDSU, & CSUSM to recognize, appreciate, and encourage them to have a great rest of their day! 🤙🏾🙌🏾

Going forward next semester, the PHIRST TUESDAY of each month we will be passing out yellow roses on each campus. We hope to see you all at the next one! 💛💐🖤
