Friday at the track recap! Oh man, where do I start, What a day to say the least. Just like I mentioned in my post track day post on the last one, I fall in love all over again with this car after a track day. Five 20 minute sessions on a 2 mile long circuit, 3,000 foot long main straight, 10 turns and a massive smile on my face and a new set of tires on their way! by @etechphoto

Thanks @etechphoto for these killer shots of my kid (16) @rumbo.1445 riding an S1000RR @theridgemotorsportspark with @superbikeschool. So stoked to have a couple of me and the kid on track together!! ….2025 year so far continued (please read)….So since we crashed the Hyper8 in February and we still wanted to race in March, we decided to prep a 2016 Ducati Scrambler that we had sitting in the shop. Here’s a little video on what that ended up looking like with some tips. It is possible to go Racing on a budget and be competitive. We managed a 2nd and 3rd that weekend at @carolinamotorsportspark -Bike $4k or so -Plastic number plates $30 (we happen to have a fancy aluminum one that we made before but a plastic one is fine upfront too)-Belly pan $9 (can be a turkey pan with some custom-made brackets) -Elbow grease. You need to fabricate some brackets to mount plates on the front and sides of the motorcycle. You will need to safety drill a number of bolts or nuts in order to pass Tech. You can use a contrasting color duct tape to make your numbers.-A fresh set of tires $400-Good riding gear $$$$?Obviously, adding a higher mount muffler, or a better exhaust certainly will help this machine. Not all motorcycles require those sort of upgrades. But you can be creative with many types of motorcycles to get on track with @ahrmaofficial . They have a class for just about every motorcycle.
