The last month. I was grateful enough to be able to travel to Acacías, Colombia, to teach English to students in the community. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the students and the community with big smiles and open hearts. The students were always eager to learn and were there for me whenever I needed a helping hand. Being able to build friendships and lifelong relationships with the locals is something I’ll forever be grateful for. The biggest thing I learned is that you can still feel loved and show love to others, even with a language barrier. The Lord truly moved during my time there, and it was an unforgettable experience. I can say with confidence that I learned more from the students than they learned from me. Thank you to my amazing hosts @ferpa_riveros and @daniel.a.amaya.779642 for being some of the kindest and welcoming souls I’ve ever met. Thank you, Acacías. taken in Acacias, Meta by @ethan_badia
