USA National Team Trialsāœ…. This competition ended up being a huge life dream come true. I gave it everything I had in every round and kept learning to trust and believe in myself more with each one. Making finals at this one was surreal and super emotional for me. I’m proud of my performance this time around, I really am. I’m so unbelievably grateful to be part of the USA Open Bouldering National Team through the Development Program and excited for the chance to hopefully compete in some World Cups this season!!! A lot to work on and a lot I’m super psyched to try to improve on moving forward. Thanks to everyone there for making these events so special, love you all. I’ll remember this one foreverā¤ļøšŸ˜ŒšŸ™

One thing shoulder surgery has taught me is that your circumstances don’t have to change your ambition. I always love pushing myself, whether that’s in my sports and athletic grind or just trying to become a better person every day.

And while this experience has changed what I’m physically able to do right now, it hasn’t changed what I’m working toward. If anything, it’s reminded me how lucky we are to have things in life that make us excited to wake up and put in the work.

I think there’s something really special about finding joy in the process, even when parts of the journey look a little different than you originally imagined. You don’t have to be making huge leaps forward every day to still be working towards something meaningful or real. That’s great when we can but sometimes progress is just finding a way over and over to keep showing up, appreciating what you can do, and trusting that the little things add up.

I’m more excited than ever about everything I’m working toward, but I’m just as grateful for where I am right now. And if there’s one thing I hope you take away from this, it’s that you don’t need perfect circumstances all the time to build a life you’re excited about.

I encourage everyone to keep chasing what matters to you. And don’t forget to enjoy the person you’re becoming along the way, that matters too😌. Really grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey so far! Hope I can give some of that encouragement back. :)šŸ¤

Hi hi

Update for u guys: Things have been pretty good lately. lots going on, lots to look forward to, and a whole lot to be grateful for.

So as a lot of you know a little over two months ago, i had shoulder surgery after dislocating it climbing. recovery has been a big part of my routine, but i’ve been making the most of it, training hard in every way i’m cleared to, and finding new ways to keep improving.

honestly, i don’t think i’ve ever been more motivated.

i’ve been putting a ton of energy into growing my climbing coaching business, and getting to work with some awesome people has been incredibly rewarding. seeing climbers go from V6 to V10 in a matter of months and watching their confidence grow is something that genuinely makes my day.

as for climbing and hockey, i’ve got big ambitions in both haha but that grind is what i live for and love so muchā¤ļøā€šŸ”„. i’m so excited to put in the hours, keep learning, and see what i’m capable of once i’m cleared to do so!

something i’ve been appreciating more lately is that you can take your goals incredibly seriously without taking yourself too seriously.

i want to work as hard as possible every day, chase some pretty crazy dreams, and keep becoming a better version of myself, but i also want to laugh a lot, enjoy the little things, be a good friend, and help the people around me succeed and feel good about themselves.

i think one of the coolest parts of chasing your own goals is getting to encourage other people to chase theirs too. there’s more than enough room for all of us to do some pretty amazing things.

i’ve got a lot to learn, a lot to work toward, and a lot of reasons to smile.

really excited for everything ahead :)

and if you’re working toward something that matters to you, i’m rooting for you too.

The shortcuts can look tempting. Rapid cuts, forcing your body into a shape it doesn’t want to hold, chasing a number because you think it’ll make you perform better.

But if the process costs you your health, your energy, your consistency, or your relationship with the sport, it was never really a shortcut.

I’m incredibly ambitious. I care about performance. I care about pushing limits. And that’s also exactly why I believe in building an athlete who can keep showing up for years, not just squeezing everything out of their body for one season.

You do not have to fight your body to become exceptional.

Build strength. Build skill. Fuel yourself. Respect the body you’re asking so much from.

I’ll keep saying this unapologetically because I want the next generation of climbers to know that chasing your potential and taking care of yourself are not opposing goals. They’re supposed to work together...

Follow if you want climbing performance, mindset, and a version of ambition you can actually sustain. I love you allā¤ļø
