My new EP “Definitely Not A Deluxe I Just Want To Post These Songs Because I Felt Like It” Out January 30

After Metamorfosi, I always felt that whatever came next couldn’t be rushed. It had to feel like a point of arrival, something deeply charged with who I am. That’s why I chose to take my time. Over the last two years I’ve made a lot of music and worked with different producers, slowly shaping a direction. Instead of disappearing and coming back out of the blue with a full album, it felt more honest to share parts of the journey as they happen to let people see where I’m going step by step.

This mini-EP is exactly that: a parenthesis in the process. A fragment of the path, released not to define anything, but to open the door and invite you in. I recently realised that music isn’t meant to be trapped in numbers or expectations, sometimes it simply asks to be released. These songs came from that place. Eight minutes to get lost, to dance when no one’s watching, to explore yourself, or just let go. In my vision the tracks move through a small cycle:

birth - growth - exploration - death.

I’m going through one of the biggest transformations of my life, and I think you can probably feel it in the way I’ve been moving lately. I’ve been working so much on music, but more than anything, I’ve been changing a lot of things in a radical way. There are things slowly being born right now that still feel fragile, so I’d rather protect them until they’re truly ready. I know that once everything falls into place with the right people, this period and even the reason behind certain absences and silences will make a lot more sense. I can’t wait to finally share this new era with you. I’ve been quietly building it for so long, piece by piece, and I’ve been waiting for this moment for what feels like forever. Here’s a tiny glimpse of the world I’ve been creating with many different amazing people! Just a little speaker demo but a small piece of what this album is going to sound like! Hopefully soon x
