NEW WORK: DNSW Directors Cut.

I love these projects - they feel more like theatre versus commercials, working with landscapes, light and performance in the moment to craft emotion and visual beauty. 9 days on the road with talented and streamlined crew capturing some absolute magic.

Big shout out to the maestro @liam_edward_brennan.dop for craft, creativity and vibes - always bringing something extra to every moment - no matter how many scenes a day we had. Thanks for @tdlrussell and @gabirving for a smooth operation, @_nemish for jumping in at every opportunity, @will_hartl for the brotherly love, @gerald.diel for his gaffing skills, of course little “miss never miss” @molly_sutherland and @mrjessewatt for his incredible soundtrack for the DC.

Thanks to the awesome team @mintfilms and the brilliant client team @visitnsw.

No prompts. No hallucinations. Just a very talented man inside a wonderful crafted puppet. Director @andrewseaton from @mintfilms on how the sleep monster Lossy was brought to life for ResMed via @hopeful_monsters_ .

Brilliant episode this week with Andrew - jumping the link in bio to check it out on Spotify and YT. Including all of @liam_edward_brennan.dop off colour jokes that don’t make the social cutdowns!

Director @tubbymorris loves the sparks inspiration that hit on set - not all of them make the cut - but embracing playfulness makes the work better overall.

Director @tubbymorris and @liam_edward_brennan.dop spoke on the pod how their cancer diagnosis acted as spark and drive to take the career and creative risks they always wanted. A really powerful chat. Recommend the full episode for more nuance than a short IG can give.
