This post was really hard to do and I even got a bit emotional writing this but it’s just something I felt like I had to do for myself. **Long read warning haha**

Change can be good it turns out haha Obviously I have made some changes to my physical appearance but I also felt that I had to make some ‘real’ changes to my life and work on myself, primarily my mental health as December 2023 can’t believe it’s been a year ago this month it all happened an it was THE hardest the FUCKIN hardest month of my life.

In the space of one month I lost one exceptionally important person in my life (and I’m happy that person is happy and doing well) but I also lost one of my best mates for about 17yrs an I was honoured to be able to carry his casket an that rlly gave me a new outlook on life an what to do with myself an life with the little fucking time we have in this life and another dear and close friend, both permanently.

These three losses put me into a down hill spiral, as it would most. I tried to cope by drinking excessively, and my thoughts became very dark and negative…..so much so that it was scaring my family and friends. However thankfully, I had some people in my life who were there for me and made sure I didn’t do anything stupid and I’m very thankful to those people…..they know who they are…

I am now focussed on making positive changes to myself and by working on my mental health in particular. I am back to playing golf more frequently, I am finally going to start racing as in car racing in 2025; I’ve signed back up to play cricket after being retired from it for like 7yrs and I have been working on self love and being happy with myself after having struggled with self doubt for most of my life. I AM WORKING SO FUCKIN HARD TO JUST LOVE MYSELF AND BE HAPPY WITH MYSELF, I’ve been seeking HELP and GUIDANCE and I think I’m gettin there…..it has been a fuckin big and rough fucking 12 months this journey but I really think I’m getting there. by @ethanpinch
