POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So far this is my life since the world shut down,

I’m grateful for all the ups and the downs because without the downs, there’s never a reason to cherish the ups.

If you’re reading this and you’re at any point in your journey, I would love to talk about how you’ve overcome or how you’re overcoming!

And if you’re an architect, a builder or a designer, I would love to talk about how we can help each other for the long run. taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @ethanwardman

This is Gramercy Park, in NYC.

This is not a paid shoot, but it might as well be because it has motivated me more than ever.

To give you some backstory, a few weeks ago my wife and I booked a trip to NYC, a place she has been dying to go to. We found tickets & hotels for relatively inexpensive, so screw it, let’s go.

One of her favorite books of all time features this park inside, and it’s quite an exclusive perk to have access here, so fortunately, it’s now one of my goals to do this for & with her.

The way her face lit up when she saw it made my mind crawls for ideas, had my creativity sparked to be able to do this.

This is a big goal, but I firmly believe it’s something that can be accomplished. The next time I post about this park will be with the key in my hand.

If you read this far, you are amazing and I hope you achieve everything you put your mind to :) taken in Gramercy Park by @ethanwardman

Reminiscing on our project with @jennyy_dillon & @athertondevelopment 😭

This project was a fun one because we documented the process since the very beginning and to see it turn out like this was actually so rewarding.

This one helped me understand how you feel when you get your contract to start designing & building out your spaces and all the time and money and tears spent. It doesn’t go unnoticed. taken in Dallas, Texas by @ethanwardman

Working on this project with @aylintheagent was nothing short of amazing.

A lot of collaboration went into it and planning each shot to make sure she got everything out of this project was essential.

First, I had set up my composition,

Making sure the island counter isn’t fully covering the back counter space, making sure the stools when pushed in we can see the bottom of the legs, making sure the island is perfectly symmetrical….and maybe 1000 more things compositionally.

Then we clean to make sure there’s no debris or anything since it’s a new construction and there’s bound to be dirt…IYKYK

Finally, the styling.

Setting up the shot was only the start, the goal of this was to get a photo of her in the photo, but blurred so I got to work, coaching on exactly what and how to do it.

I ended up walking in circles around the island about 3 times to show her the speed and how I wanted her to swing her arms to get the exact shot.

Great imagery to me in this industry is the baseline, but helping our clients get exactly what they need out of each project and actually delivering is what sets us apart.

Final shot of @aylintheagent in the amazing kitchen she designed,

The goal was to get her walking in the space between the pot filler, and the cutting board on the counter space, but she didn’t want to be so blurry that she looked like a ghost, but not blurry enough where it’s a still photo,

And I believe we absolutely executed.

Aaaaand our final shot where she isn’t brushed in showing off the kitchen and its glory 😌

If you made it this far, thank you for reading, and if you’re a designer, architect or builder, I’d love to connect and help you create imagery that actually helps you stand out and gain the clientele you’re looking for. taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @ethanwardman

When @jhet_architects reached out to have photos taken of their space, their belief was simple.

“We absolutely do not want “sterile”.”

I told them that I don’t have a sterile bone in my body 🤣, this was a fantastic project, even more fun when there were like 10 interns as my models and helping me throughout.

Hope you enjoy. taken in Dallas, Texas by @ethanwardman
