First ever Qur'an recitation at the House of Lords 🏤

Alhamdulillah, it was an honour to have opened last night's event with Qur'an recitation and reflections. The event was held in celebration of the 15th year anniversary of @rosebudssisters and 20th year anniversary of @etharrelief who have both done amazing work to support and enrich local and global communities.

As a Shura member and faith advisor for Rosebuds Sisters, I'm extremely proud of the incredible impact the team has made to empower and develop female communities across the world.

May The Almighty accept their efforts and take both organisations from strength to strength. Ameen. taken in House of Lords by @etharrelief
