Eesti ETNO 30 x Kerttu Kruusla!

Sel aastal juhtus Ethno Estonia ajaloos midagi esmakordset: Eestis toimus korraga KOLM ETNOT - Eesti ETNO, Noorte ETNO ja Laste ETNO. Kolm põlvkonda noori muusikuid, tantsimas, musitseerimas, uusi sõpru loomas läbi pärimusmuusika.

Ethno Estonia 30. sünnipäeva ja nende kolmekümne aastaga sündinud kolme laagri tähistamiseks kutsume teid fotograaf Kerttu Kruusla näituse avamisele!

Kerttu on olnud osa Ethno Estonia perest alates 2015. aastast - alguses osalejana ning sellest ajast peale meie iga-aastase fotograafina, jäädvustades aasta-aastalt ETNO inimesi, hetki ja vaimu. 📸

Tule ja tähistame koos seda erilist verstaposti! 3. oktoobril, kell 17:15 Viljandi Vabaduse väljakul!

Ethno Estonia 30 x Kerttu Kruusla!

This year, something happened for the first time in Ethno Estonia’s history: THREE Ethnos happened in Estonia at the same time - Ethno Estonia, Ethno Teens and Ethno Kids. Three generations of young musicians coming together through music, dance, friendship and tradition.

To celebrate 30 years of Ethno Estonia and the three camps that these thirty years have built, we’re inviting you to an exhibition by photographer Kerttu Kruusla!

Kerttu has been part of the Ethno Estonia family since 2015 - first as a participant, and ever since as our annual photographer, capturing the people, moments and spirit of Ethno year after year.

Come celebrate this special milestone with us!

“Ethno Estonia” ir viena no senākajām un lielākajām muzikālajām nometnēm pasaulē. Desmit dienu un nakšu garumā mūziķi no dažādām valstīm cits citam māca sev zināmās melodijas un dziesmas, kopīgi veidojot koncertprogrammu. Atzīmējot savu 30. jubileju, “Ethno Estonia” dalībnieki viesojās arī Valmiermuižas etnomūzikas festivālā, kur ar nometnē radīto programmu priecēja apmeklētājus un vadīja mūzikas darbnīcu.🌞

Paldies @ethnoestonia mūziķiem par iespēju Valmiermuižā sastapt tik dažādas muzikālās tradīcijas!🎻

Music has the power to bring people together across borders.🌍

“Ethno Estonia” is one of the oldest and largest music camps in the world. Over the course of ten days and nights, musicians from different countries teach each other melodies and songs they know, creating a concert programme together. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, participants of “Ethno Estonia” also visited the Valmiermuiža Ethnomusic Festival, where they delighted the audience with the programme created during the camp and led a music workshop.🌞

What a beautifully sweet edition full of laughter it was! Ethno Estonia's 30th edition ended just a week ago with a rainy surprise performance and goodbyes full of admiration and true friendship! What a joy it is to be able to play and share folk music with each other!

Etnomūzikas vasaras svētki turpinās! 🌿✨ Ja nedēļas nogalē Valmiermuižā notvertā noskaņa joprojām silda sirdi un gribas pieredzēt vēl, jau rītdien aicinām doties uz Vīlandi, kur no 23. līdz 26. jūlijam norisināsies @viljandifolk ! 🎶🇪🇪

Šī gada festivāla tēma ir „Katram savs instruments” (To Each Their Own Instrument).

Vīlandes Folkmūzikas festivālā varēsi sastapt vairākus mākslinieku no mūsu šī gada programmas. Ja kādu no viņiem palaidi garām Valmiermuižā vai arī viņu uzstāšanās iepatikās tik ļoti, ka gribas to pieredzēt atkārtoti, šī ir lieliska iespēja:

DID YOU KNOW...
In 2001, Ethno Estonia became an international camp! Aside Estonians, there were participants from Finland, the US, Sweden and Hungary. Krista Sildoja had written in her notes: "The camp is starting to move towards the international ETHNO!"

2001. aastal sai Eesti ETNOst rahvusvaheline laager. Eestlastele lisaks oli osalejaid Soomest, USAst, Rootsist ja Ungarist. Krista Sildoja leidis oma korralduslikest märkmetest lause: "laager hakkab üha rohkem muutuma rahvusvahelise ETHNO suunas". by @ethnoestonia

In 2000, the camp got a new name: Eesti ETNO!
For the first time, music and dance came together in one camp to Viljandi! The days were filled with playing, singing, dancing.
It was the last time the camp took place in Viljandi for a while. The next chapter would take Eesti ETNO from the city to the countryside...

Esimest korda said ühes laagris kokku pillimäng ja tants ning laagrilised kogunesid Viljandisse. Päevad täideti pillimängu, laulude ja tantsudega.
Laager toimus viimast korda Viljandi linnas. Järgmises peatükis kolis Eesti ETNO mõneks ajaks maale... by @ethnoestonia

The current head of the Ethno Estonia teams, Margit Kuhi, was in the second ever Ethno-inspired camp in Estonia. Ene Sillamaa and her were in charge of the camp's catering!
Ene is still a very good friend of Ethno Estonia. Every year we visit her tourism farm in Männiku to have a rest day after many intensive workshops. Of course, a rest day is not complete without a sauna! She provides us with TWO!

Praegune ETNOde pealik, Margit Kuhi, oli juba teises ETNOlaadses laagris! Ta vastutas koos Ene Sillamaaga laagri toitlustamise eest.
Ene on siiani ETNOde väga hea sõber. Igal aastal käime tema turismitalus Männikul, et puhata ja mängida peale mitmeid intensiivseid töötubasid. Puhkepäeva juurde kuulub muidugi ka saun. Männikul on neid lausa KAKS! by @ethnoestonia
