My first time ever singing on stage… and it happened in front of people from 15 different countries. 🇯🇴🌍❤️

I never imagined that Jordanian folk songs like “Nezlen ala el bestan” and “Mar’iya” would be sung together by people from all over the world.

Music truly has no language it simply brings hearts together.

I came carrying Jordanian music in my heart, and I left carrying a piece of the world in it❤️

15 countries. One stage. One heartbeat.

I had the honor of representing Jordan 🇯🇴 at Ethno Sicily 2026🇮🇹, sharing our Jordanian folk music with musicians from all over the world.
One of the most beautiful parts of this journey wasn’t just performing… it was watching people from different cultures genuinely sing, dance, and embrace our music, our traditions, and the stories we carry with us.
Seeing so much appreciation for Jordanian and Palestinian culture reminded me that music has a way of bringing people together beyond language, borders, and backgrounds.
Thank you to everyone who embraced Jordanian and Palestinian culture with so much curiosity, respect, and love. That meant more than you know🇯🇴🇵🇸
Grateful for every musician, every friendship, and every unforgettable moment.
Ethno Sicily 2026, thank you for making the world feel a little smaller🌍🎻. 🇯🇴 Georgia • Finland • Brazil • Chile • Cyprus • Bulgaria • Italy • Germany • Belgium • Hungary • India • Sicily • Portugal • France.

Folk music has a beautiful way of bringing people together. Even when we don’t speak the same language, we somehow understand each other through rhythm, melody, and tradition.

This song is inspired by the Jaagar tradition of Uttarakhand, and I never imagined that one day musicians from different corners of the world would join me in singing it; or that an audience in Sicily, Italy would be clapping along to it.

A huge thank you to @ethnosicily , the incredible mentors, staff, and my friends who played along and poured their heart into this arrangement. You made this song come alive in a way I’ll never forget. ❤️

Thanks a lot to @arti.chauhan and @junkha.uk for crafting this lovely shacket of Bhumyaal Devta.

Here’s to keeping folk music alive, together.
