💥VINICIUS SANTIAGO & CAIO MARQUES are bringing to ETHNOSPHERE the Ritual Performance “Popcorn Bath”, OMOLÚ is an orisha worshipped in Ioruba based in Afro-Brazilian practices originating in the American Diaspora. Considered the god of healing in orisha mythology, Omolu is responsible for spreading the cure for illnesses, as well as dealing with issues related to health, death and spiritual renewal.
In Brazil, one of the rituals dedicated to this orisha is the popcorn bath, used as a form of purification and energy renovation. This ritual is practised in both Candomblé and Umbanda, and consists of the symbolic use of popped popcorn — called doburu — which represents spiritual cleansing and the softening of negative energies. The practice of the popcorn bath is deeply connected to faith, respect for ancestral traditions, and the search for spiritual balance. Ritual 20:00.

💥LUC GATWA is a Rwandan-Swedish painter and photographer. He has worked as professional artist for many years both in Kigali, Rwanda and Stockholm, Sweden.
He uses art as form self communicate and expressing ideas, emotions through other sensor experiences. And translates that into canvas. His works is inspired by African masks, patterns, movement and strong colour combination.
