Preference for experienced candidates, especially in naturally leavened baking🍞, using freshly milled flours🌾, and/or laminated doughs🥐. Self taught baker over here🙋‍♀️, and also we have limited training capacity these days so folks who can jump right into the "mix" of things (ok maybe not literally haha, see what we did there🤣) are ideal.

What better Human of Ethos this week than one of THE Humans of Ethos?

Scot was many things - child music prodigy, political campaigner, traveler, small business owner, car enthusiast, dog-lover, hiker & cyclist, and so much more. Scot brought matchless energy, life, drive, and as one person recently said “unapologetic sass” into every aspect of his life. He and Angela met at Barracuda coffee and created Ethos together in 2011. At every turn Scot was always the visionary that was pushing for bigger and better things, making every new build his baby until he could hand it off to others to push them to make it shine. Scot had a knack for pushing people to accomplish more and rarely met someone he couldn’t strike up a conversation with. Fun fact, he avidly avoided photos and could most frequently be found hiding behind something or someone.

There is so much more that we could say, but there’s not enough words to convey everything that Scot meant to Ethos as a company, the people within it, and the community at large. Thanks for being our human.

Save the date for October 13th @ 1:30pm for a public memorial for Scot. ❤️

🥳 Happy Birthday to us! 🥳

🔥15 years ago today, we opened our doors for the first time and slung pizzas out of our wood fired oven, Martha. We had no clue where this journey would take us - the highs and lows, and so much in between.

🌾We are celebrating all month long, kicking off October with our Community Bingo - go on a journey around the Tri-cities and reminisce with us as you visit some of our original spaces, cheer on our team, and support other local community organizations who have supported us through the years.

🎁We’re giving away great prizes for folks who play along, including your choice of Ethos merch, and even an entire Grainbow club membership if you get a full blackout! We’ll be sharing more in coming days about the significance of each square if it’s not immediately obvious.

We’re calling it’s the PCC! Pear Cardamom Crumble✨

Bake club is this Saturday, September 26 at 3pm at the Keene location! And the theme is apples! 🍎🍏

There are just a few rules:
🍎RSVP by “purchasing” a FREE ticket on our website (link in bio!) – this is so we can track numbers and prepare accordingly.
🍏Bring something you baked, inspired by the theme of the month.
🍎Bring the associated recipe for sharing (and also allergen awareness!)
