Teaching children how to sit with poise may seem like a small lesson…

But what we’re really teaching is confidence, self-respect, and consideration for others.

Receiving these heartfelt notes from the Girl Scouts reminded me that children notice far more than we realize. They remember how you made them feel.

🍽️ 5 Steps to Teach Children How to Set the Table

1️⃣ Start with the basics
Teach them the essentials first: plate, cup, and utensils.
Don’t overwhelm them—take it step by step.

2️⃣ Explain it visually
Show them where each item goes or use an already-set table as an example.
Children learn best by watching.

3️⃣ Make it fun

La niña que un día soñó… es la mujer que decidió hacerlo realidad.

En un paseo de la escuela, cuando tenía unos 5 años me tomaron esa foto 👉🏼 (desliza) y me preguntaron: que quería ser cuando grande? Sueño con ser modelo! 🤩
.
Lo que no sabía en ese momento era cuánto ese sueño iba a formarme.
.
A través del modelaje, aprendí disciplina, presencia, seguridad y la importancia de cómo una mujer se comporta y se proyecta, lecciones que hoy forman parte de lo que enseño.
.
“La niña detrás de la coach” soñó primero… y luego creció para hacerlo realidad 🫶🏼
.

🇺🇸 The little girl who once dreamed… is the woman who chose to make it a reality.

On a school trip, when I was about 5 years old, they took that photo 👉🏼 (swipe) and asked me: what do you want to be when you grow up? I dream of becoming a model! 🤩

What I didn’t know at the time was how much that dream would shape me.

Through modeling, I learned discipline, presence, confidence, and the importance of how a woman carries and presents herself—lessons that are now part of what I teach.

“The Little Girl Behind the Coach” dreamed first… and then grew into the woman who made it happen 🫶🏼
