reset. start again. enjoy the little moments in between.

some of the questions I’ve been asking myself lately.

and honestly, some of the answers are uncomfortable. 😭

how much of what I want is actually what I want… and how much of it comes from constantly seeing what everyone else has?

I’m still figuring it out and slowly breaking down the things I thought I needed to be happy, successful or “on track.”
it’s not easy, but I think becoming aware of it is the first step. 🤍

At 19, I left everything I knew and came to Italy with one dream: to build a bigger life for myself and make my family proud.

But building that life looked nothing like I imagined.

I was working while studying, taking on more than I could handle just to keep going. There were seasons when work took so much of me that I barely had anything left to give to university.

And somewhere along the way, I got stuck.

My thesis felt impossible to finish. My last exams kept getting pushed further and further away. And watching something I had worked so hard for suddenly feel so out of reach was heartbreaking.

But I kept going.

Maybe not as fast as I wanted.

Maybe not perfectly.

But I kept going.

I’m proud of the degree, but I’m even prouder of the girl who refused to give up on herself.

The 19-year-old me came to Europe hoping for a bigger life.

And little by little, I’m building it.
