About The Curious Savage: “When Ethel Savage’s late husband leaves her a small fortune, she decides to make the best of it, establishing a fund to support various dreamers with whimsical aspirations. Her greedy step-children decide to admit her to a sanitarium to ‘bring her to her senses’. The Curious Savage celebrates those who are often overlooked, emphasizing kindness, affection and empathy in a world that too often rewards greed and ambition.” taken in Barnett Theater (Evangel University) by @eu.theatredept

Congrats to our own, Lori Lawley on her retirement! From EU actor and theatre major to acting coach, director, and professor- Professor Lawley has been such a pillar of this program for so long.

We had the privilege of honoring Professor Lawley once more at her retirement reception yesterday. Surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, current students, and alumni- it is undeniable the impact she has had, the legacy she leaves behind, and the love and gratitude that we all have for her. We will forever be “changed for good” because of knowing her.
(Swipe for surprise student performance) 💚🎶 by @eu.theatredept
