i won’t ramble about the negatives of being chronically online because we all know. but i will say, liberating myself from stats, followers and engagement has been one of healthiest things i’ve done for my quality of life.

egregore ep is out everywhere via @malignantmusic !!!

i recently discovered the concept of“egregore” from my love @_seraphim888 and it felt like the perfect representation of this whole music project.

releasing music and into the world for the last few years created something that has grown beyond me. it’s like all of my thoughts, emotions and energy summoned something that i can’t control, like it has a mind of its own. i think egregore is a fun way to represent what happens when you pour your soul into something, it’s as if it comes alive as a non-physical entity.

the intentions behind this music are
1. to rip on big systems
2. i’ve been consumed by this perpetual pursuit of combining soulful vocals/lyrics into heavy club music in a way that hasn’t been done before. this ep is another attempt at trying to get that idea out there.

i don’t feel i know what i’m doing and never really felt that in the first place, so having @malignantmusic support this pursuit is a true wild honor. i’m sitting in my untreated room, tinkering away on my m-50’s and suddenly my heroes know my name.

so to everyone out there with imposter syndrome, keeping pushing man, things will materialize

i’ll mention the title when the ep is out on thursday!
