Hello! 👋 In case you were wondering who is behind the scenes of Euka, I thought I’d take a moment to re-introduce myself!

Firstly, thank you for being here! 🫶

I’m Tara and Euka is my full-time floristry business, created out of a passion for art & nature 💐

I’ve been working with flowers since 2017, but have always been a creative artist and nature lover since childhood 🌱

I have the privilege of living and working on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar, from my home studio in South Lake, and take great inspiration from the First Nations connection to land 🖤💛❤️

I work closely with the Noongar seasons and specialise in local Aussie-grown flowers, particularly native Australian flora and some South African species. Sustainability and honouring the planet is one of my core values, and I incorporate this into all aspects of my designs and operations as much as possible 🌏

Benji, my (almost 4 year old) border collie is my partner in crime and loves to be involved in everything I do, which means he’s on quality control, delivery assistance and play-time / cuddle breaks 🐶🐾

Some facts about me:
🍁 Autumn is my favourite season
🌼 Acacia and Grevillea are some of my favourite flowers (but this tends to change with the seasons!)
🌳 I prefer the forest / bush over the beach / ocean
🫖 A cup of tea + a sweet treat is the way to my heart
🎌 I love all things Japan and took my dream trip there in Nov 2024 to catch the momiji trees in full autumn bloom!
🪲 I have a taxidermy bug and earthy pottery collection (and also a collection of Totoros, drop a 🐰 if you know what I’m talking about) basically I love trinkets ✨
🎶 FOALS are my all time favourite band

What makes our wreath workshops different? 🌿

The wildflower wedding 🍃🌼🌳
Part II - The Ceremony

Set beneath a towering ancient eucalypt, an intimate ceremony unfolds. Soft, billowing fabric drapes gently over an overhanging branch, complimented by a suspended burst of bright yellow wattle blooms. A soft romance set in the wild & textural landscape of the Australian bush ✨

This styled shoot began as a creative connection between @eukafloraldesign & @maria.filmphotography who shared a strong vision for an intimate elopement in the bush 💍🌿

Built around 4 key values:
Intimacy, Authenticity, Accessibility & Natural Beauty

We carefully curated our dream event setup - captured entirely on analogue 35mm film and Super 8 Video 🎞️🎥

Another moment for Aleah & Troy’s West-Australian Wildflower wedding 💐

This beautiful couple were committed to supporting local, seasonal flora 🌿

Intentionally booking their wedding date within the peak of Djilba season (first spring in Perth Western Australia) 🌼

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of selecting exclusively West Australian flora for their special day and it was so rewarding to see the colours and textures come to life. We really are so lucky here to have such a decadent diversity of blooms ✨

Their wedding package included wearable floral crowns, boutonnières and a lush collection of wedding bouquets so their family & children could embrace their floral “wildling” nature 👑🍃🧚
