**Learning To Lead With Purpose -My SD2L Journey Continues** Exactly a week ago, I had the privilege of attending my second SD2L Orientation session by @shedares2lead__ —and once again, I walked away inspired, empowered, and equipped. The theme, *Elevate: Leadership Strategies for Emerging Women*, challenged me to dive deep into self-discovery, define my purpose, and intentionally craft a personal growth path. One powerful takeaway was the importance of identifying my *IKIGAI*—the intersection of what I love, what I’m good at, what the world needs, and what I can be paid for. This concept gave me clarity and direction as I refine my leadership purpose. A special thank you to Ruhaina Razak CA, ACIB, CIMA, ISO Risk Manager Certified for her powerful insights and guidance during the session. Her words reminded me that leadership isn’t about titles— it’s about mindset, growth, and connection. Embracing feedback, seeking stretch opportunities, and building meaningful mentorship relationships are all part of the journey. **How I’m Applying This:** * Starting each day with reflection to build self- awareness * Drafting my personal leadership purpose statement * Reaching out to potential mentors and giving back through peer support * Saying “yes” to opportunities that stretch me beyond my comfort zone Grateful to be on this journey of growth with other bold, brilliant women.
