Sometimes you just have to entertain those times sq photogs… @nyprinceteam by @eunicekindred

Even though we typically spend this day together cheering on the sidelines for our 2, I wouldn’t have it any other way… unless it’s back to that special place where we had the best time ever. Happy anniversary to my other half @nyprinceteam #101010 💕 by @eunicekindred

Birthday month still in full effect and the gifts keep on giving! I hopped on the tables for a quick set of what’s currently in high rotation on my personal playlist. Some newbies some throwbacks, kinda chill kinda dance-y, but all vibes. Download/listen via the link in my bio. Drop a line in the comments if you jammed to it! 🎧 #djsefa #seeeunicedj #virgoseason

And if you’re new to my page, yes I DJ galas, clubs/lounges, weddings, Store pop-ups, school parties, reunions, baby showers, I’ve done it all 🎵💕 by @eunicekindred

When this music video came out, the fanfare and buildup MTV put behind the premiere was akin to a new blockbuster Marvel movie coming out. It was an EVENT. They teased the making of, had trailers, showed the million dollar sets, the whole 9 and I remember being glued to my tv to watch. And yes, it blew my MJ and Janet Jackson fan-loving mind - they were together!!! Singing! Dancing! MJ cursed!!! (Seriously it was a big deal back then lol) Janet had that whole anime-emo look going and MJ with his shiny silver moon pants 🤣 How many times did I watch and rehearse that dance breakdown? Enough that I can probably whip it out on the spot right now.

Sooo when I see @davmachicado posts that he’s doing this in class it’s a no-brainer. And during my birthday week?!?! David, I’m telling myself this was your gift to me 😉 bc you always throw down on choreo to an MJ track and this was no different. So here I am living out my backup dancing dream … in my 40+ body that can still move (thank you, ✝️🙏🏽)

And to the youngins…please go YouTube the video…I could tell in class that some of you were probably hearing that song for the first time…smh. Thank me later!

Another year around the sun. Grateful and blessed to have my squad by my side as we experience so many adventures together. Thank you to all who sent bday wishes or spent time with me. I appreciate it! #virgoseason #happybdaytome❤️ by @eunicekindred

Spent the week observing the flurry of prep, fittings, media, and activity that goes into producing a show for #nyfw. @nyprinceteam hosted the @publicserv_ce residency at @3505onewallst as they geared up for their runway presentation. Grateful I also got to show out and rock this 1 of 1 coat in the front row - there were so many other pieces in this collection that didn’t make it to the runway but definitely have my eye on it! Also @artemuseum_newyork as a venue was chef’s kiss in building the experience to lead into the main room and show. I wish I could have wandered longer but I guess that means I need to come back. Congrats to the team and everyone involved in making this a success 👏 by @eunicekindred

Obligatory first day of school photos 🙂. Happy 6th and 8th grade to my babies ❤️ @nylaxwinter by @eunicekindred

@brunomars is High on my list on who to see live and he definitely came to siiiing. Such a great show, the sound is by far the best I’ve heard especially in a stadium setting. The musicality of the set, sooo many references and subtle mashups incorporated had @nylaxwinter and @nyprinceteam grooving all night 🤌🏾 I wish he performed his uptempo songs (like 24k / finesse) but if you’re dedicated to a romantic theme, you gonna stick to a theme… still 10/10 - speaking of dedications - we made it to the big screen!!

P.s. @anderson._paak is such a vibe! And I really really wish we had Victoria Monet as the opener 😭😭 #brunomarsromantictour by @eunicekindred

Work and training with some fun squeezed in. #nylawinterindallas by @eunicekindred

You take your kid to the Declaring America: 1776 and Beyond exhibit at the @nypl and come face to face with one of only seven surviving copies of the Declaration of Independence handwritten by Thomas Jefferson himself He wrote it AFTER July 4th because Congress cut parts of his original draft — including his condemnation of the slave trade (ironic, no?)

Then Nyla and I walked into the “Handwriting the Declaration” social art project and she decided to hand-write the ENTIRE thing herself while I sat and doodled waiting for her to finish (it took 2 hours😱) I was just admiring the focus along with everyone else around me and artist Megan O’Hara-who conceived of the idea of social art practice on January 20, 2017, originally calling it Handwriting the Constitution. She called it activism for introverts and I was feeling that. In any case we were proud of our work and took photos to commemorate the moment! Also it’s really crazy to actually read the entire declaration in the context of today. #thingsthatmakeyougohmmm by @eunicekindred
