Grief is strange.

Some days it feels distant or barely there, just a quiet ache, and other days it’s heavy and overwhelming.

A year ago today, we said goodbye to our Nanay.

I miss her smile, her warmth, her voice and the way she made everything feel okay.

I’m still learning to carry the loss and finding moments of peace with it.

I love and miss you, Nanay.
Not a day goes by that you’re not in my thoughts. There have been moments where I wish you were physically here. But I know you are watching over me.

I’ll keep your promise forever. My future kids and grandkids will always know about you. Your story will never stop being told ❤️ by @eunicemegan_
