POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Night 6, Set 2 - @euphoria__again and @dogwoodtales played my favorite album of the year, Destination Heaven. But, this wasn’t just personal, the set delivered and the musicianship was evident and embraced. Thanks to both bands for making it happen. The record is extraordinary and will perpetuate.

Euphoria Again is the project of John Klein — a Philly singer-guitarist who’s been quietly doing this since 2013 and has spent that time becoming someone the scene can’t stop talking about. You might know him from Knifeplay, the atmospheric shoegaze outfit that WXPN named a Band to Watch. You might know him from Friends of Jerry, the beloved Grateful Dead worship band. But Euphoria Again is where he goes deepest.

Think Crazy Horse warmth, M.J. Lenderman grit, Kurt Vile drift. Haunting roots rock that sits with you on life, death, love, and everything in between — backed by a full band that makes it feel lived in and wide open at the same time.

Their third album Waiting On Time To Fly dropped in November 2024 on Born Losers Records. Stereogum covered it. WXPN brought them in for a Key Studio Session. The live performance video for “”White Light & Wind”” — shot at dusk on top of a tractor in a Bucks County field — tells you exactly what kind of artist John Klein is.
This is music that finds you at the right moment.

🎶 Start with “”Sky Remembers”” off Waiting On Time To Fly — out now on all platforms.

🎟️ Catch Euphoria Again live at PMF on October 17th

Tours wrapped!! Another one down, thanks to @_fieldmedic and crew for taking us along and being such great to people to travel with, loved getting to watch them every night and share an audience. It’s always such an honor to travel with friends and play this music. Big thanks to @dogwoodtales for joining and backing the Euphoria tracks, it’s a special thing to make friends as great as them through doing what we do. Not much on the books right now for Euphoria except a few unannounced things pretty far down the road. Hope to get to work on another record this summer and keep putting out music. Until then ✌️❤️ by @euphoria__again

We hit the road in a little over a month with our gracious friend @_fieldmedic , can’t wait. My usual band will be on tour with Knifeplay during this time so my good friends in @dogwoodtales will be helping me out with the songs, I think it’s gonna be a run of shows not to miss! It looks like many of the shows are reaching the point of selling out so if you wanna come make sure you get presale tickets. It’s been a great few months of support for the newest record Destination Heaven, my expectations have far been exceeded in terms of the response. Thanks to everyone who’s supported and keep sharing it with your friends if it moves you!
