Billy and I had an incredible opportunity to meet in the Oval Office with & to thank our President @realdonaldtrump @potus for the honor of a lifetime to represent him in Belgium and share with him about our first year there. Also received a beautiful tour of all the @whitehouse enhancements - The Rose Garden, the Presidential Walk of Fame, the incredibly detailed helipad and the new East Wing addition which will be gorgeous! So grateful to have this time with our POTUS and see and catch up with so many friends here in DC 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 taken in The White House by @euregram

Historic and beautiful @freedom250 ceremony at Henri Chapelle with three WWII Veterans- Frank Stellar, Russell Sattazahn, and Truman Christian with His Majesty, King Philippe and Ambassador Bill White @billwhiteflausa @belgianroyalpalace @usembassybelgium

The National Anthem played along with the Belgian Anthem and a fly over of American C130s and Belgian F16s together

Amb @billwhiteflausa thanks our veterans, the King, the embassy, the foundation who maintains Henri Chapelle and the young Belgian kids who came to honor the Veterans.

His Majesty, The King addresses the ceremony with a heartfelt message of the bond between our two great countries

His Majesty King Philippe and Billy joined our three veterans, Frank Stellar, Russell Sattazahn, and Truman Christian, at the grave of Private First Class Edwin Earl Stewart.

For Frank Stellar, this was not the grave of a stranger. Edwin was his brother-in-law. He is one of the 7,987 Americans who are now laid in rest at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery.

His Majesty and Frank the Tank riding together - all three veterans had the opportunity to ride with The King and share their stories.

September recap. LDW with dear Fernand & Katharina and a fun group of Belgians touring Tonco, Italy 🇮🇹! Attending @demegroup Deme Group’s 150th anniversary in Antwerp with Prime Minister Bart DeWever @bartdewever1 and Baron Luc Bertrand, Amb & Lori Nirenberg, Adam & Cris, and Joe & Jill. Visited the cute town of Tienen with Mayor Holsag and several prominent business owners there. Gathered around the new flag pole of Whitlock Hall to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with the embassy and the Marines. Dinner with Marcelo & Dominick at their new hotspot in Gent @lechouchou_gent . Co-hosted a US Forum Initiative with Stephanie of @amchambelgium. Hosted the annual Rentree reception, this year celebrating 194 years of Diplomatic Diplomacy. Guests of Patrick & Siska’s at the Gala Dinner in Ostend in honor of Princess Astrid. 87 Day Event with Billy and Theo - hosted by Jeremy Thomas. Very fun and too quick of a trip to Chicago to catch up with Ryan & Devon and finally got to try the new @ghostenergy A&W root beer. Met with Maxim of @tekna.be and installed new lanterns on the terrace. Co-hosted a well attended beautiful 9/11 Reception with the @911memorial. First time @billwhiteflausa and I visited Prague, Czech Republic 🇨🇿and had a fantastic tour with our adored Bart & Terezka of the beautiful city, churches and their incredible factory there @drylocktechnologies. We also had the opportunity to meet Amb Merrick & his wife Leslie. Hosted a beautiful dinner iho our great friends Jan & Martine and their dear family and friends finished with cigars on the Roof Club thanks to @dominiquelondongroup. Ended the month with a very fun dinner at @bozarrestaurant_karentorosyan with sweet Johan! taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @euregram

Six months in the making with an incredible team of professionals and donors, last night was a celebration worth waiting 250 years for! Gorgeous evening with our family and friends - Belgians and Americans together excited & having fun! The unity of US Amb @billwhiteflausa @usembassybelgium to Belgium and Prime Minister @bartdewever1 speaking together, US Amb Matt Whitaker to NATO @mattwhitaker46 @usmissionnato and SACEUR Air Force General Alexus Grynkewich with Secretary General of @nato @secgennato Mark Rutte, and US Amb to the EU @andypuzder1 @useu with Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament was awesome to see and demonstrated the real partnerships between everyone here in Brussels despite the socialist media narrative you are constantly being fed. The festival, the Ambassadors reception in @autoworld_brussels, the vintage WWII aircraft flyover, the day fireworks, the @zacbrownband performing a mix of their best and patriotic songs, the @alexiswilkins performance of our National Anthem and the finale of drones and fireworks added up to everything and beyond we could have ever planned for. Most grateful to everyone being there and supporting this monumental birthday at Brussels’s most beautiful monument - @jubelpark_cinquantenaire taken in Parc du Cinquantenaire by @euregram
