i have never gotten this personal on my instagram, but this retreat has become one of the biggest impacts in my life. this program is very unique and it is something that no other school has, and it is something i will forever be grateful for that my school has. the song says you began to wonder why you came, and genuinely, i found my why and it is all of you. family for me is beyond blood and i found the best community i could have asked for. none of this would have been possible without god. as a leader, some of these talks and activities had a very strong impact on me, and some of the talks from other leaders truly impacted me. now i know that god needed me to be there to listen to this and that god wanted me to be here for this. i am so grateful for every single one of you. even though i was putt and i did not get my own small group, i was able to have some honorary kids and i had the opportunity to go on one on ones to show people god love. during this whole process, i was feeling a lot of emotions. at times, i even felt very isolated and it definitely was challenging to get through, but i would not have done it any other way. coming out of this retreat i do not think i have felt this happy and relieved in a very long time. i found some of my best friends in this process and now i have no idea what i would do without them. to have the best people leading us, caps and curtis, to be able to grow closer to all thirty one leaders and all sixty six kids was a blessing. i am overjoyed that i was a part of this retreat. i genuinely love every single one of you. i always used to say cedar kirk has a special place in my heart, but i have reworded it because it is all of us as a family that has a special place in my heart. 🤍 by @evaaaa.rodriguez
