Apparently this has been #1 on Amazon for 5 years in its own category and… I get it.

The @bedsurehome PureWoven Cotton Waffle Weave Duvet Cover Set is 100% natural cotton, insanely soft + has the prettiest waffle texture. It gives the bed that perfectly cozy, slightly undone look that I’m always trying to achieve without actually trying

Also love that you can take the insert out and use it on its own as a lightweight blanket.

Basically made for fall.

And it’s up to 30% off right now!

I’m always getting messages from you guys saying “I wish you lived closer so you could help me with my house” and welllll… turns out I don’t have to. 🤎

I’m officially offering virtual interior design!!!

So whether you’re across the country or just down the road, I can help you pull your space together, figure out what’s missing, source pieces, make those impossible design decisions, and create a home that actually feels like you.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while and I’m SO excited to finally open it up. 🥹

If you have a room that just isn’t quite coming together (or you’re starting completely from scratch), email me at evaacatherinebooking@gmail.com with a little bit about your space and what you need help with.

Can’t wait to see what we create together 🤎 xx by @evaacatherine

I gave our fall dining room decor a little refresh, and it turns out the biggest difference wasn’t more decor—it was patterned window treatments. 🤎

I went with the new Rosewood print from the Sara Le collection by @twopagescurtains, and I’m honestly obsessed with how much warmth and character it adds without feeling like too much.

The pattern is subtle but makes the entire room feel more layered, collected, and intentional. I kept the rest simple with warm fall tones, lots of texture, and plenty of candlelight, and I love how the whole space came together.

The new Sara Le patterns are only here for a limited time, and this one completely changed the room.

Currently crushing on: plaid 🤎

Something about a warm brown plaid just feels like fall. Blazers, mini dresses, tailored sets, oversized layers—I want it all. And paired with rich chocolate brown accessories?? Perfection.

I rounded up some of my favorite plaid pieces right now + the coziest faux fur tote to pair with them.

These panels completely transformed my mom's office.

The goal was to create a space that felt warmer, more intentional, and completely transformed without taking on a full-scale renovation.

The biggest difference came from adding the Masisa Wavy Fluted Warm Oak Acoustic Panels, which instantly brought texture, depth, and a custom feel to the room.

I love projects like this because they're proof that sometimes a single design element can completely change how a space feels.

Which version do you prefer: before or after? ;)

If you've been thinking about updating a space in your home, textured accent walls are such an easy way to make a big impact.

Comment MASISA & I'll send you a link!

#acousticpanels #accentwall #homerenovation #interiordesign #roommakeover masisapartner

acoustic wall panels, fluted wall panels, wood wall panels, accent wall ideas, office makeover, room transformation, home renovation, home decor ideas, modern interior design, textured walls, sound absorbing panels, warm oak wall panels, DIY home improvement, custom built look, office design inspiration by @evaacatherine

Fall bedding is officially happening 🤎

Swapped everything over to the @bedsurehome Bedsure PureWoven™ Organic Cotton Sheet and I fear I’ve made the bed a little too comfortable.

It’s GOTS-certified organic cotton, super soft, gentle on sensitive skin, and has that perfectly lived-in, cozy feel I want this time of year.

Basically my sign to cancel plans and stay in bed.

Would you believe me if I told you this peel & stick wallpaper was only $9?!

I'm always looking for affordable ways to make a space feel more collected and elevated, and this might be one of my favorite finds yet. The soft neutral toile, the vintage feel, the PRICE... I genuinely can't get over it.

Now the only question is... where else should I put it?! *

Turning my mom’s dated bedroom into a cozy brown bedroom with a boutique hotel feel might be my favorite bedroom makeover yet. 🤎

And seeing the entire transformation all over again makes me want to redo every room in the house.

We took a space that felt dated and completely reimagined it into something warm, moody, layered, and cozy — the kind of bedroom that makes you want to stay in bed just a little longer.

From the rich brown walls and warm wood tones to the upholstered bed, layered neutral bedding, vintage-inspired rug, gallery wall, linen curtains, and all those little finishing details… every layer made the room feel more intentional.

But my favorite part will always be that I got to create it for my mom. 🥹

I wanted her bedroom to feel like her own little boutique hotel — cozy, elevated, peaceful, and completely different from where we started.

And yes… everyone told me painting the room brown would make it feel too dark.

I’m very glad I didn’t listen. 🤎

Would you ever go this dark and moody in a bedroom?

DIY plaster pedestal makeover using joint compound and faux limewash for a high-end designer look on a budget.

One of my favorite things to make lately is anything that looks expensive… without actually being expensive. I found this pedestal on Facebook Marketplace and immediately knew it had potential. A little spray primer, a few layers of joint compound, soft sanding, and a faux limewash finish later and it looks like something straight out of a vintage design showroom.

Honestly the slightly imperfect texture is what makes it feel so good.

Here’s the formula for a bed that actually feels like fall 🍂

I always start with quality sheets and build from there — a little pattern, mixed textures, a heavier throw and suddenly the whole room feels warmer🤎

I used the @bedsurehome PureWoven™️ BareNights Bamboo Sheets Set as my base.

They’re made from 100% organically grown bamboo viscose, gentle on bare skin, and have that silky, cool-to-the-touch feel that makes getting into bed arguably the best part of the day.

Proof you don’t have to redo a room for the season completely. Sometimes you just need better layers.
