Hello to all the new people here 👋🏼
I thought this would be a good time to reintroduce myself. I’m a France-based audiovisual artist. I work across a few disciplines - visual art (artwork/photography - NO AI), film & music (ambient/experimental - you can find it on Spotify etc. if you search my name). Links to everything are in my bio. Professionally I’m also a designer and I create artwork, often for music industry (more of this on my website evabowan.com), I usually work freelance on a variety of projects, for individual clients or companies.
In my personal work my two biggest influences are nature and dreams 🌿✨ I often try to reconcile my escapist tendencies with the grounding that nature offers. Both dreaming and being present can make me feel equally safe and inspired and I hope my work can bring this to you as well. I love both digital and analog media, I love experimenting, learning new things, combining techniques. There’s more about that saved in my highlights “questions” and on my YT channel: youtube.com/evabowan.
As to my background, I was born in Krakow, Poland and I lived there until my teenage years when I decided to run away to the UK to study Music. In the recent years I’ve been travelling around Europe a lot and capturing what moves me.
I also have a little rescue doggy who comes with me everywhere and I love him very much.

A Sort of Nowhere (2025) is a photographic exploration of solitude, transience, and the quiet search for belonging. Captured over two years of nomadic travel, each image is a self-portrait taken in a place that, however briefly, felt like home. You can view the whole series on my website (evabowan.com, link also in bio) 💫

autumn in Paris is hours spent in tiny cinemas, daily pain au chocolat, dimly lit cafés of Montmartre and always knowing the time in another town 🍂

may this kind of summer find you ✨🇮🇹
salt on your skin, sun-warmed streets, countless ripe peaches, and places you begin to miss before you’ve even left.
