Sites of early and prehistoric Scottish history.

Dunadd Fort, where kings of the Scottish kingdom of Dalriada were crowned. You can see the inauguration stone with footprint, where the new king would stand during this ceremony.

The prehistoric site of Kilmartin Glen, with over 800 ancient momnuments! The museum teaches more about this special place.

Achnabreck Rock Carvings which really impressed me. Laying in a forest is this rock art of over 5000 years old and is seen as one of the most important ones in Europe.

I hope to return to this area and explore more, but I’d like to thank @discoverscotlandtours for taking such good cafe of me whilst providing me with the most amazing history tour by @evabrittr

Some time ago I had an amazing day from Glasgow visiting sites of early and prehistoric Scottish history.

First was Dunadd Fort, where kings of the Scottish kingdom of Dalriada were crowned. You can see the inauguration stone with footprint, where the new king would stand during this ceremony.

An Uamh Binn, also known as Fingal’s Cave is a true wonder of nature. I highly recommend looking up its legends and myths, or listening to one of the musical pieces that were inspired by this so-named melodious cave. Truly breathtaking to see the cave in real life and enjoy it’s beautiful surroundings and blue waters @nationaltrustforscotland @visitmullandiona taken in Fingal's Cave, Isle of Staffa, Scotland by @evabrittr
